Local Gnar

The Rome SDS and Kids on Shred Productions are proud to announce the second annual “Local GNAR” contest. That’s right, the time has come again to get your crew together and film your local scene—and possibly win $1,000. Short films of up to 5 minutes will be accepted by Rome until April 1st 2008. Videos will be judged by the Rome team and Kids on Shred Productions. Winners will be chosen based on creativity, originality, and an overall inclusion of the themes that inspired Rome’s original “GNAR” video. All video entrants will be competing for a chance to win $1,000 and load of new Rome product. Read more about the local Gnar Contest

Local GNAR is also evolving in 2007-08, becoming its own section on the Rome website. With the launch of Shred TV on the Rome site, local crews can submit their videos for broadcast on the ShredTV page, and for selection to be featured on Rome’s homepage.

i think that some of wezzos films could win that, the video that won the last one wasnt that great of quality, but okay riding i guess, its not only about throwing biggest tricks but the "local" scene and fooling around
