If we could, we'd be in the Worldcup video tongue.gif

If that was second place. First place must of been ridiculous.

After the first air his line is a little suspect. I'm betting first place was cleaner, but not as spectacular to watch.

Also, was that a "boo-yah" from the announcer?

Announcers at international events are always ridiculous. Accents on the weirdest syllables, weird exhalations and grunts, and emphatic booyas make for an always interesting experience for the ears. The announcer in Turino at freestyle skiing was ridiculous.

Bump skiing is uber tough on the knees and lower back..I enjoy skiing bumps..and staying in the zipperline but a few bump runs per day for me is plenty..because I don't want to one day have to have knee replacement surgery...But the steezy tricks the competitors do in the bumps in incredible..a combination of newschool park skiing and old school bump skiing. The days of twisters, spread eagles, and daffys are gone..JEA!!!!!

That last jump was more like Ski jumping then anything. Definitely not new.

The mogul skier got mad ups from a small kicker..the 2nd jump looks like something Matt Stunt would have thrown..

Obviously you have no idea what he's actually doing then.

Thats an off axis spin, which may not be new, but they weren't throwing them in aerials ever or bump competitions until recently. Aerial jumpers throw spinning flips.

See how they stay totally verticle the whole time?

Also, Aerials don't cross up, and they approach jumps differently. Nothing from either of those airs really looks like it was borrowed from aerials, other than the jump shape itself.
Dan-
Guess your right, had to watch it a second time. Just looks weird when they just throw it straight without grabbing.
