Hey All,
I'm back from my first time back on skis since late April. With tales of deep snow in the Poconos..I hit route 309 north out of Allentown with my ski gear at 3:00PM. Going over the Blue mountain there was only a light dusting of snow..in Tamaqua there was no snow but as I gained elevation driving north into McAdoo..the snow went from a dusting to several inches in a matter of a mile. I drove around the small town of McAdoo and shot a few pictures..there were no good hills around. Due to the heavy wet nature of the snow..I needed to find a nice steep hill...for momentum. Driving around a backroad near I-81 I spotted a great little hill..only about 30 vert but I'm guessing 20something degrees..maybe 30 degrees at the crux..lol..I made several laps and it felt so great to click into my bindings and be back on snow. My weapon of choice were my Rossi BC Scratches..I might have nicked a little pebble or two but the surface under the snow was mainly grass..O.K. here are some pictures..

http://www.beachcamera.com/shop/product.as...;sku=OMST850SWS$200, shockproof & waterproof. A newer version of the camera my girlfriend bought for me. It takes great scenery shots but just ok action shots. If you time it right it can get fast moving objects, but there is a like 1/4 second delay between pushing the button and taking the picture. I think this is on a lot of digital cameras, but I have a lot of pictures of rails that I have just jibbed taken by people who push the button too late.
Can't vouch for the company that is selling it, but I found it through
http://www.pricewatch.com/cameras/water_resistant.htm and they are always a pretty good filter
