I wish I lived a little closer to Sunday River Maine to take advantage of lift served October turns..It looks like just one run on the upper mountain will be operating with downloading. This is how far Sunday river is from my hood..

i want to get somewhere this weekend. i dont care who it is with or where, i just want to ski.
I went home and waxed the PE's and threw all my ski clothing in the wash...just incase

I'm hearing that Gore mountain in NY might open this weekend....a pretty easy drive..comparable to southern Vermont

As of right now...they're still blowing at Kton...even at the base of the K1! The Kton guys on AZ are being very suspicious, with all their "testing".
I'm hoping for November 7/8 somewhere. I'm going home on election day to vote, I'll get my gear and be ready for a trip next weekend.
