Blue is planning on opening their halfpipe on Wednesday. It should be mad steezy, especially if they actually maintain it this season. Any other halfpipes open yet?

Camelbacks has been open since opening day!

They have been blowing into it every night they can. I was told Tuesday is a maybe for the pipe, Wednesday a definite. They were putting the Zaugg together on Sunday, and its 14 feet high. With all the snow in the pipe, it definitely is looking promising.

How high do you think it will be. How high is it normally- never really paid attention to the pipe.

normally it is like 8 feet with crappy walls... overall it used to suck. but this year they actually care about it and have talking it up pretty good and hopefully it will be better since they have better equipment and care

if the walls are over 12ft i'll be happy

Probably not the place to post this, but... In Spite of all my complaining... CB had their pipe open from the first day. It is now closed now since they are blowing on it again! There are pictures on the site... From the captions, it appears that they are really trying to improve things!!

Mountain Creek is getting close, maybe 2 weeks or so? I'm not sure if it will be open before the Grand Prix though, but thats coming soon. They do have a massive amount of snow in there already though, at least a month or two ahead of last season, its crazy.
