Hey all... we'll be at BC at like 7 PM for some night skiing tonight instead of Blue tomorrow. Look for us.
You don't need poles to ski.

Our 1st ski day of the season was a really good one. We got to BC at 6:30 PM, scored an awesome parking spot, booted up, bought tickets and were on the slopes by 6:45PM. Lift lines ranged from 3 minutes to non existent. The wranglers did their best but kids nowadays can't count so the was the occasional cluster-f. The trails themselves had great coverage and were totally uncrowded. The snow was fabulous... spring like, soft, edgeable... totally hero snow. As the night went on and the temps dropped it got faster so we ended up staying past the start of sore legs... 9:30PM. We skied just about every trail multiple times and I have to say that Timberline to the F Chair was the best. We really were alone on Timberline for pretty much every run. Soooo nice. Since Bob's sweet tooth is unrivaled we also got a waffle, with chocolate of course, from the new hut. Sadly it was good but not $5.00 good. Oh well. Overall we had a great 1st day at BC. Hopefully next weekend we'll be at Blue.

BTW, Bob usually doesn't like BC but since I don't last that long on my 1st day out BC is often our 1st and sometimes 2nd ski trip of the year. The short drive and $33.00 lift ticket also come into play.
