Hey all, I'm thinking of heading down to BC for some night skiing tomorrow night. They're running Nastar, right? And they still do the ski club discount? Is anyone going to be around?

Well I want to get some time in with gates, and the BC ski club discount is far better than any discount that blue offers. 15 bucks for a night ticket. Can't beat that. I have some technique to work on.

I might be out for a few runs tomorrow night....if the tune shop isn't too busy.

Anyone here planning to ski nastar? I know BC is a mountain dominated by park rats (for good reason) but I was hoping I'd at least have someone up for friendly competition.

And say I was contemplating bringing a pair of skis for a quick tune at the tune shop... whats the damage, and do you do edges by hand? (damn me for leaving my tuning equipment at the gf's lake house)

Justo, I thought I saw your car there when I was leaving. Unfortunately I did not make it out of the shop. We mainly use a machine for edging but I have no problem doing them by hand for you. If you need anything done PM me.

Good to know... Thanks Bob. Luckily I found a mountain 22 minutes from my apt that does nastar on wed nights, instead of driving 2 hours to bear creek. 6 racers tonight, 5 bucks for unlimited runs. I think I found heaven lol.

Haha, actually, I already did Doug. I didn't end up going to BC. I found a mountain that's 20 min from my apt, 18 bucks for a night ticket, and they run unlimited nastar on wed night for 5 bucks. See my post in "NY and Northern Mountains". The place is called Tuxedo Ridge.
