It looks like there's a good chance for a snowstorm for Eastern Pennsylvania late in the day Tuesday into Wednesday..If you here any info or expected snowfall amounts post about it here...and when the storm hits, give us your backyard observations. One thing is for sure..it looks to be cold enough for an all snow event..we just need the precipitation....Here is the Allentown forecast frow www.wxusa.com

Tuesday
Mostly sunny in the morning...Then mostly cloudy with a chance of snow in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 30s. North winds around 5 mph. Chance of snow 30 percent.

Tuesday Night
Snow likely. Lows in the mid 20s. Light and variable winds...Becoming east around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of snow 70 percent.

Wednesday
Snow. Brisk with highs around 30. Chance of snow 80 percent.

Wednesday Night
Snow showers likely...Mainly in the evening. Brisk with lows around 20. Chance of snow 70 percent.

Immobilizing..that is bad..once again this storm could be better for the southern Poconos..that to me looks like a humdinger.. :wiggle

If we have a big snowstorm Wednesday..it would be dangerous for my office to be open..as a safety minded individual I am going to suggest we are close if it snows more than 3 inches..immobilizing snowstorm means people should stay home unless they are going skiing or to the beer store..

this really should turn out to favor the poconos more so than the philly area. or, at least we can hope.

probably by tomorrow this map will actually shift more northwest than it shows now.
