  1. Not sure what we were thinking with the pizza. I'm a good eater and i managed to only put down 3 slices of mine. Not sure if Antman has some type of mental telepathy healing powers but my knee felt pretty damn good yesterday, and after skiing for a good portion of the day, i could almost walk like a normal human being. Way better range of motion to where i can actually sit on the lift without making funny faces in pain. First day i was a little worried this wasnt going to pan out. I still probably need to stick to mostly groomed stuff, but i might be able to dabble a little off trail today to see how things shake out. I am thankful for at least two things, Naproxen and a hot tub. We are heading to possibly my favorite place, Brighton. I love that place. Super cool chill vibe to the place. Weather looks like another bluebird day. Great trip so far, minus the knee thing, good friend, good times. .

  2. Today was a pretty good day. All around enjoyment here at Brighton. It is such a fun mountain with a lot of unique terrain and some really distinctive groomers with a lot of great groomers that just roll with the natural terrain. I don't feel like typing out an entire report, so I'll just post pictures since thats what people mostly want to see anyway. Most of the day was spent off of the Milly and Great Western lifts. Again, bluebird. Enjoy.

  4. Was just happy to ski decent conditions. Those first few empty runs on Main Street were so $$. Winter is back at Blue.

  7. Lazy sucked but everything else was great. Spent the whole day in skis and was really getting into it. Its super fun to have mini breakthroughs on two planks. Beer and camaraderie was on point as well. Looking forward to doing it again.

  9. Hey All, I’m back from a fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and in the house were Johnny Law, Mute, Ryan, Indiggio, PARidge, Schifdawg, Nastar Glenn, Nastar Glenn’s daughter, Slim, Marty, Enjorales, Enjorales Dad, Bethlehem Ford Guy, Fritz, Race team, Asian invasion and many more. Temperatures were in the upper teens and snow guns were blasting all over including on Widowmaker which used to be Raceway..guns in razors and challenge top to bottom, lower park, lower paradise, tubing and other spots. Due to a lot of lift capacity and limited terrain the runs got crowded fast. Main Street and paradise both had the nicest snow. Solid packed pow, a few slick spot but not bad..lazy mile was rough with some serious cookies..the falls was closed for the race team. I skied until almost ten then was in the lot for another two hours drinking beer..temperatures were up into the upper 20s with some sunshine and super dank beer was consumed. Then around noon me and Johnny law and schifdawg went to the BMDI..never a bad meal there. All in all today was busy on the runs but fun skiing and another PASR day.

  14. Yeah today was pretty rad. It was my friend's first time at Blue Mountain the True Mountain and I think he might be sold on a season pass for next year. He had the Jackson Frost pass last season and realized today how much more skiing you get to do at Blue. We skied everything that was open from 8 to 1. Got too busy for my liking but the first 3 hours were very good. I'll be back tomorrow morning, Jadip.

  15. Today was probably best snow on main st all year. Crowds got crazy but nice to see them make some loot. They should really be able to get some stuff open soon. Headwall on razors/challenge could use some more snow. Beers as always were first class and bmdi after is the cherry on top.

  18. The 'Bird is a pretty cool place. Whoever described it as a Mini-Jackson was dead on. The chutes through the rocks, the steeps, then wide open terrain. I would love to ski there on a pow day to rip some of the huge faces they have. Snow was still soft and very chalky everywhere except Mineral Basin which was starting to get a bit too much sun. I thoroughly enjoyed the 'bird and would go back. So much terrain to explore.

  25. Oh, hello everybody. Toast here. We are back from a day of skiing Snowbird, here in Utah. We left at 8:05 and parked around 8:35. The ride up was uneventful, but it was fairly cloudy with a fog layer in the SLC valley. Dan had coffee on the ride. Jeff drank water. When we got there, we got our lift tickets and got out on the snow. First ride up was up Peruvian because Jeff can't take a tram for some reason. Started out cloudy at the bottom with low visibility, but as we rose it got super heavy and dank. Could barely see. We skied down Chip's Run to Rothman Way to get over to the Gadzoom lift since that is a little lower and had better visibility. By that time, we could start to see the sun break up the clouds. Ended up taking a few runs over here like Bassackwards and Black Forrest while popping in the trees in and around there. After spending time there, we took a few runs off of Gad 2, and then worked our way over to Little Cloud to get our Johnson's Regulated. That groomer was fun to rip right down and the moguls on the side had a nice coating on them to rip through. Yolo. Soon after, we headed back to Mineral Basin before the sun baked it by heading to my favorite conveyor belt ski lift. We ended up taking a few runs in there. One down Blue by You above a cliff band and another down the 49er Gully (I think) and somehow I ended up in one of the Chamonix Chutes which was a little boney by the snow was good. Jeff and Dan ended their day shorty after and I met them at the top of the tram for a nice frosty beverage after taking another run back down Chip's, to Chip's Face, and then something else back to the tram and up. Overall, it was a pretty damn good day. I'm surprised how good the snow stayed in the trees and even the groomed trails. Good day wit dem boyz.
