  1. Sounds like opening day for trout in PA too. I haven't gone since like 2006 and it was a mess then, I'm sure it's worse now. If I get out to fish, it's going to be smallmouth bass in the river or at a local pond on a friend's property, no stocked trout. I normally start fishing saltwater early April, but that's not gonna happen for me until things start getting better
  2. I think fishing, biking, etc. are also allowed from what I've read. I was reading something about park facilities being closed, but activities at the parks such as kayaking, fishing, biking, and hiking were allowed as long as safe distances were followed and no congregating of people.
  3. Day care workers in general get a lot of my respect. My daughter is awesome, but dealing with 20 or 30 of her at a time? No thanks. Plus dealing with all the germs and bodily fluids haha
  4. Yeah, I'm sure I'll have to cut it before then. I should probably pay more attention to my lawn, but not enough time for that.
  5. I'd be ok if I don't have to cut my grass for another month. I did trim some of the trees yesterday and today
  6. I keep thinking of Wu-Tang clan...Wuhan clan ain't nuthin to fuck with
  7. I guess that's what happens when people don't follow the lockdown orders. I guess maybe it could be partially due to the fact that more people are getting tested and results are getting reported?
  8. My wife's work is pretty busy. She does underwriting stuff for a bank and all the companies that aren't working currently are deferring their loans, so she has a ton of extra paperwork to do
  9. He just makes the bamboo SUP paddles. With shipping, the sale price is $ 190 right now. I honestly probably don't NEED a bamboo paddle, but they're really nice. This is the SUP I have, the FS7 fishing board. I think I paid $ 300 a couple years ago. It's an inflatable so I always deflate it for transport. It's a pretty solid board, super stable and durable. Definitely not a fast board though, and not great when it's choppy https://www.amazon.com/Zray-Inflatable-Adjustable-Aluminum-High-Pressure/dp/B07HGQ33DN
  10. Yeah, I've been friends with Andrew since I was like 5...If anyone is gonna buy his ski poles, he may hook you up with a discount if you tell him you hang out with me at Blue.
  11. Yeah I bought my pass right after closing day...other than that, I bought a SUP paddle from my friend's company (https://www.grasssticks.com/) since he was having a sale and I figured I'd support him. One nice thing about being home is we're not paying day care for now, and gas and tolls are much less than if I was driving to West Chester every day.
  12. Yeah, I'm home for now, but I may have to go in later in the week and one day next week. The person who had it was on a different floor, but they still use the same front door as everyone else. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if other coworkers had it though. When I was at work the past few weeks, I avoided using the coffee maker, fridge, etc. and just stayed at my desk except for going out for a walk a few times a day (and also use the potty )
  13. Chester County, Delaware County, Montgomery County, and a few others are pretty much on lockdown, but since a lot of businesses are considered essential, people are still out and about. That's certainly not helping stop the spread of the virus
  14. Yeah that's how I feel too. I'm not sure I trust that whoever cleaned did it thoroughly, and there's always people who don't wash their hands or come into work sick. People who don't have the ability to work from home whine about it, but most of those people are pretty much just data entry.
  15. My work had a confirmed case Friday...supposedly the office was sanitized over the weekend and they encouraged people to go back to work today. I'm not all that smart, but I would think even with a good cleaning, it's not the best idea to go back to work after only a few days. Working from home all week if I'm allowed. I can pretty much do everything from home except deposit checks...but with other companies working from home, we won't be receiving a lot of checks anyway
  16. Yeah we had some snow on the deck and cars, but just raining now.
  17. Took my daughter fishing for a bit today. She had fun but didn't catch anything. It was kinda chilly so we didn't stay too long
  18. Yeah supposedly my work is a life sustaining business. A lot of our customers are big companies like AT&T, Comcast, Charter, T-Mobile, etc. and I'm guessing they're all staying open. I would think at least people on that floor should get tested. Each floor has a separate kitchen, bathrooms, etc., so I don't think I would've come in contact with them, but if it's easy enough to get tested, I would probably do it also.
  19. Apparently someone at my work (although they work on a different floor), tested positive. They sent everyone home at lunch, but I was home already anyway today. I'm guessing the office will be closed for at least a week. I've been doing takeout too, but my local taproom is already closed after a few days of takeout only. I'll hit up a few other restaurants this weekend. I'll probably go out and get more beer later.
  20. I have several jars of peanut butter and marshmallow fluff. I could eat fluffernutter sandwiches for the next two months if I have to (if I don't run out of bread)
  21. I agree. Although cutting out 2+ hours of driving, PA turnpike tolls, and $ 10 or more in gas per day is nice.
  22. If he can't go out to eat and hit the bar, it would make more sense that he doesn't gain a ton of weight.
  23. Yeah we received a text last night saying "we reviewed the latest statement from the governor and we categorized ourselves as life sustaining business, so see you tomorrow". I'm working remotely every other day since day care is closed, but every day would make more sense since I have the capability to do so
  24. I ordered mine online yesterday. I gave up on the $399 pass and just paid $429
  25. Yeah, I guess I'm lucky in that sense that I don't have to worry about really keeping up with schoolwork for my daughter. She's probably going to trash the house and we'll read some books and do some type of learning, but it's not like I have to worry about following a lesson plan or anything. I don't really have anyone to watch my daughter either, but my in-laws offered to take her for the weekend as long as everyone's feeling OK, so I'll get a break then.
