Yeah, I guess I'm lucky in that sense that I don't have to worry about really keeping up with schoolwork for my daughter. She's probably going to trash the house and we'll read some books and do some type of learning, but it's not like I have to worry about following a lesson plan or anything. I don't really have anyone to watch my daughter either, but my in-laws offered to take her for the weekend as long as everyone's feeling OK, so I'll get a break then.

Yeah the child care situation is shitty. My daughter's day care is closed until the 31st at least. I'm going to start working from home every other day. As long as its nice out at least I can take her outside some so she doesn't go crazy.

I did a double take when I saw sucking on PSU's....haha.

I've never shit in my boots, but if I did, I'd at least clean it out before putting my feet back in them

Yeah I agree...this is my first full season at Blue and I'm gonna miss hanging out with you assholes in the parking lot every weekend for sure. Before I got last year's Montage pass (and then Blue), I was only getting 5 days or so on the mountain, plus a Colorado trip most years. Now I feel like I'm more into snowboarding again, and even if the conditions sucked, the parking lot never disappointed

Few more pics...great end to the season. I'd be in for a beer meet up or something in the offseason. And if anyone wants to kayak or fish just let me know. I have a few extra kayaks people could use

Today was awesome. Wish I could've stayed longer. Food was insanely good and snow was soft and enjoyable although not too fast

Hope you're feeling ok Barb. You will need a new helmet but it probably saved you from a more serious injury. Trip looked good otherwise.

Yeah buddy pass is still yours. I'm bringing cookies, 2 packs of rolls, beer, and whiskey. I can pick up donuts or bagels on the way if we need them

I got 2 packs of hamburger rolls. I can pick up bagels or donuts in the morning if we need it. You're welcome to use mine. I usually get there right around 8

I gotta run to giant this morning so if they have rolls or bread for tomorrow I'll pick some up

I'll try to make some chocolate peanut butter cookies if I have time. I could probably pick up bagels on the way to Blue, but Panera doesnt open until 7:30 so I would probably be a little later

Thanks for the info. Some people are saying it's terrible, others say it's overhyped, so it's good to hear your perspective. A few people at work were told to stay home...one person who works on my floor came back from a cruise, worked all week, then was told to start the 14 day quarantine today. I may request to work from home for a bit and keep my daughter home if I can. Anyway, your trip looked awesome. Looks like you got some great conditions

So what are your thoughts on this whole thing toast? Is it as bad as the news makes it seem? I'm wondering if they're going to close the day care

Unfortunately you may be correct. I hope not though. I'm hoping my work will let us work from home if necessary, but not likely. I'm still hoping to make it Sunday if I'm feeling up to it. Not sick, just haven't been sleeping well the past few days

The parking lot will still be there the 22nd. Just might not be able to ski if they're closed.

Yeah thinking about it, we always used to get flyers in the mail for great deals for Comcast back when we had cable...we would call and try to get the new, better deal, and they would tell us those offers didn't apply to us. Anyway, I'm not overly pissed off about saving $ 30 on my season pass, but I'll keep bugging them anyway to see what they'll do about it.

Having not been a Blue passholder before....are they always this much of a trainwreck?

Yeah so I called again and they said it was sent by mistake and they're trying to decide whether they should honor the $ 399 price. They were in a meeting to figure out how to handle this and are supposed to call me back once they make a decision. I doubt they will so I'll call again tomorrow

I'm gonna call again on the way home from work so I'll find out I guess. They never called me back, but that's not surprising
