  1. from JFBB.com... 08.26.09 | By chris "Jack Frost Mountain staff under the direction of Mark Daubert have been busy clearing out more glades, adding tower guns, replacing snowmaking pipe, and "elevator" work. Here are some teasers of what has been going on this summer. Riders this coming winter will be treated to glade expansions on Challenge and Jane's Lane. The glade on skier's right of Challenge has been extended to the East Mountain Lift. Jane's Lane has new glades also on skier's right that go to D Lift. The crews have been busy installing 18 30' tower guns on various slopes including Thunderbolt and Exhibition!" This is all good news. The challenge glade sounds like it will be sweet although it already skied down to the lift, just had some rocks and logs to look out for. Jane's glade sounds like it'll be fun too and can't wait for the Elevator.
  2. THANK YOU!!!!
  3. Nice find PC. For $25 he must have beat them up pretty good, still looks like an awesome deal though.
  4. I just love the fact that we're talking about WRODS - The season is near!
  5. Lets us know if you saw any good deals. I was thinking about going tonight, may stop by tomorrow if it's worth it.
  6. Forget my last question. I don't think they make them shorter
  7. Nice PC...I'm Interested do they have anything in a shorter length.
  8. You're not alone
  9. That's cool. I'll let it slide....this time I forgot about JADIP!
  10. Sorry, never saw KYS before. Anyway thanks for the updates Fluffy. Keep 'em coming they're much appreciated.
  11. Yeah I'm not sure grooming it would be a good idea. By the way what's KYS?
  12. For me, I'm pretty stoked about some possible new, unofficial, terrain at Frost and skiing some of that with the JF crew. How about you guys? Is it a trip maybe some new gear?
  13. I really hope they get to Vader soon. Anyway, good to hear about challenge and Janes Glade. That gives me a reason to actually go on that side of the Mt. now.
  14. Seriously? Anyway if I had to decide between the two, I'd choose Blue. Although CB has been staying open later in recent years. But if I had to decide solely based on trails / terrain, I'd go Blue.
  15. Sweetness!! Have fun out there man.
  16. I think the bike thing is a great idea...but another waterpark?
  17. From the Times News... http://www.tnonline.com/node/451962
  18. It's so early but right now it's looking like. Frost (mostly on weekends) BB (one or two nights a week) Elk (1 or 2 days - skipped it the past 2 seasons) CB (if they give out the freebies again) Whiteface Gore (I want to knock this one off the list) And who knows where else.
  19. I would even say 5 mos. and 3 weeks is possible. 6 months sounds so far away.
  20. No problem. The allergies are bad. The bugs are out and the weeds are growing . Breaking out the ski photos keeps me sane.
  21. A lot of the trees, especially to (Challenge trees, T-Bolt glade, One Park Trees) get refreshed every time they blow snow on the adjacent trail. Of course if we're lucky enough to get natural snow then it's even better. When there's snow in the trees at Frost, which is a good portion of season. I spend most of my time off the trails. The glades give JF it's charm. And now for a little Jackson Frost tree stokage...
  22. Are they comparable to MRG or Jay Peak's trees? Of course not. But the glades at Frost are fun plus they're the only resort in the area who at least offers the opportunity to ski trees which is pretty cool IMO.
  23. Did anyone go? I ended up not going. I had to do a ton of stuff.
