La Luna Mystica! I’ve always wanted to stay in one of those trailers! Did they reopen the brewery next door? It was closed for a while after Covid.
Awesome report, so glad you had a great time!

Awesome trip with a great crew, and it went by way too fast. I’ll remember the day we had at the bush for a long time. I love spring skiing just as much as about anything and we sure skied our asses off! Agree with Law that there was no place better to be than with a good group of guys post skiing stoke, drinking a heady topper while the sun is about to set over the mountain.

If you get the same model goggle then you have an extra pair of lense(s) in case they scratch or crack etc... I had the goggle with the reddish/orangish tint and I think all Smiths come with a flat light lense as well.
So all said and done once I proved I cut the strap they gave me voucher code values at the original product price.
I guess there's no way to tell if you used an old picture? Could you use that same pic again to get a free lens?

Based on my extensive internet research I'm assuming it is between $350,000 and $500,000.

Hopefully those new liners are better for keeping the heel in proverbial pocket.
My heel is going to be so snug in the pocket that you I'm going to need a crowbar to get it out. @AtomicSkier is going to be super jealous of my heel security on a warm, sunny day.

I'm 100% going to get me and my son Ikon base plus passes again. Best deal by far for us. Jackson, Taos, Sugarbush, Killington, Stratton at the very least for us plus 5 days for the young man at Blue.

With this new modern lift ticket situation, do you still need to park and get into that cattle truck? or is their a kiosk at the lift next to the lot you can redeem at?
It’s great, you can park right by the lift and scan your code at the kiosk.

Just finished up a quick 3 days at my favorite mountain Taos Ski Valley. This was the first time that we’ve gone as a family and I didn’t put my kids in ski school. Skied a bunch with the family which was a blast. It’s nice that my kids are good enough now to follow me around some fun terrain, and I got a kick out of showing my son the steeps in west basin which he had never hiked to before.
The weather was warm and sunny all three days but the snow remained nice and chalky so everything was in play aside from some slopes that face south which are rarely good anyway.
On day 2 my kids and I shared a lift ride with pro skier Connor Ryan (@sacredstoke) who I was familiar with from a fifty project episode and also “Spirit of the Peaks” Movie. Awesome friendly guy and we had a great conversation and shared our stoke for skiing.
Highlights were skiing Kachina with my daughter and seeing bighorn sheep up top, and taking my son into Stauffenberg and St. Bernard in west basin which are some of the most legit steeps in North America.
Wish I could stay longer but I’m blessed to get it in if even for just 3 days.

14 days of Poconos skiing is a fair amount when it also gets you 7 in Catskills and unlimited in VT, Rockies, etc.
Might be worth going to Blue less often to get all that.
Is Wyndham the Catskill mountain you are thinking of? I wouldn't be surprised to see them come off the Ikon pass since they are doing the private club thing. I heard it was impossible to get an Ikon reservation there this year.

The fact that he was all excited about the waterpark and hotel and knew jack shit about the ski area shows what the focus is over there.

My kids had a teacher in elementary school with the last name "Onderdonk". Boy was it a mistake calling her "Mrs. Badonkadonk" within their earshot.

I’m sure they’re going to look at several years of revenue and expenses so they can pin an asking price.
Correct. This plus other information would go into a Monte Carlo simulation to come up with a price.

Fun times today! Was glad that @Dirtwolf was able to get the morning in, and was cool to see the tram through the eyes of someone experiencing it for the first time. Snow was so good in rendezvous bowl, and it was so nice and sunny up there I had to take 3 trips up big red today. Aside from pockets of bad visibility the snow was really nice overall. Tomorrow I will get in a couple runs and head for the airport. It’s been a great trip!

I like to have a lot of food in my room, in my pockets, and also go out to eat a lot. I have quite the large appetite.
