  1. accuweather isnt always accurate with predicting storms but when they are right, their precip. forcasts are right on the money. so if they are riht abotu this storm.... 6-12 inches of snow
  2. nbc sucks at life go to noaa.org / weather.com / accuweather.com
  3. the park will be open tomorrow afternoon for night skiing... so hopefully it is open when i get there around 3
  4. yeah it would, i have a picture of the new flat box/rail thingy... i should post it, its like 25 feet long.. looks decent
  5. stay there saturday night, there wont be any snow until saturday afternoon/night
  6. if it is closed i will cry and probably kill somebody
  7. could imagine going down razors in 12 inches of powder? i would be able to die a happy man.
  8. yeeeeeah! i was there. it was great. and the same will happen sunday morning. im stoked.
  9. actually... most "kids" shouldn't be in the park. think of all those skiclubbers that suck at life. they dont belong there. maybe the kids you hang out with and ski with should, but not the kids with rentals. it seems as though the people who belong to websites like this know what they are doing in the park, and if they dnot, they dont use the features incorrectly... the people that we need to worry about are the ski clubbers and the weekend warriors that come out during the Asian invasions. and no, getting stuck doesnt have anything to do with how good you are in the park and where you belong. i caught my pants on the lift once... and i know what i am diong in the park
  10. it supposed to fall through the night... they usually groom right after it closes or early morning on the slow skiing trails... so hopefully there is still some nice snow out there. if they were smart they wouldnt groom. that would be amazing i'm gonna have to huck myself off of jumps and actually try shit because its going to be sooooooooooooft.
  11. unfortunately for Philly, there is the possibility to a changover to rain towards the end. Now Blue on the other hand.... 12+ would be nice
  12. and for once they might be getting snow instead of rain... http://headlines.accuweather.com/news-stor...ler=0&article=1
  13. vt... how many chances are you going to get to ski a foot of power on a bigger mountain than BEAR CREEK. plus
  14. gotta love Subaru's Doug. the snow should be rolling in late saturday afternoon so i might end up going to Boulder for the comp. in the AM in Blue in the afternoon. Sunday morning should be powder-rific. http://headlines.accuweather.com/news-stor...ler=0&article=0 http://headlines.accuweather.com/news-stor...ler=0&article=1
  15. yeah man, thats the way it should be, a nice long flat rail that you can get tech on. not something that you have to pray to clean.
  16. i thought he was looing for a freeride program?
  17. ...A WINTER STORM MAY AFFECT THE REGION THIS WEEKEND... WINTER IS NOT OVER YET. AND BY THE TIME THIS WEEKEND IS OVER, WE MAY REALIZE THAT IN A BIG WAY. OUR COMPUTER MODELS, DO NOT YET AGREE ON A SOLUTION FOR OUR UPCOMING WEATHER SITUATION. WHAT WE DO KNOW IS THAT A WEAKENING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BE DROPPING DOWN ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES FRIDAY. THE ENERGY FROM THIS SYSTEM WILL TRANSFER TO ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING OUT OF THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY. THIS LOW IS EXPECTED TO INTENSIFY AS IT MOVES TO THE MID ATLANTIC COAST SATURDAY AND THEN TO OFF THE NEW ENGLAND COAST SUNDAY. PLENTY OF GULF AND ATLANTIC MOISTURE IS EXPECTED TO BE DRAWN INTO THIS SYSTEM. THERE LIES OUR POTENTIAL PROBLEM. DEPENDING ON THE TRACK OF THE STORM, THE POSSIBILITY EXISTS FOR A SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL FOR MUCH OF OUR FORECAST AREA. WITH COLD AIR IN PLACE, THE PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN AS SNOW SATURDAY. IF THE STORM TRACKS FAR ENOUGH TO THE EAST, THE BULK OF THE SNOW WILL BE ALONG THE COAST OR JUST OFFSHORE. IF IT TRACKS FARTHER WEST, THE HEAVY SNOW WILL FALL OVER MUCH OF OUR FORECAST AREA. AND IF IT TRACKS EVEN FARTHER WEST, CLOSER TO THE COAST, MILD AIR WILL BE DRAWN INTO THE SYSTEM BRINGING A CHANGEOVER TO RAIN TO SOUTHEASTERN PORTIONS OF THE AREA WITH HEAVY SNOW FALLING FARTHER INLAND. IT APPEARS THAT THE CRITICAL TIME PERIOD WILL BE LATE SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT. AS THE EVENT DRAWS CLOSER, WE WILL GET A MUCH BETTER IDEA OF HOW THE UPCOMING EVENTS WILL PLAY OUT.
  18. yeah its going to look like an art museum with all of these sculptures. s i m p l e r a i l s
  19. i hope its open by the afternoon... and i hope they put something like a 40ft flat rail in the park... that would be sick. not any metal sculptures that everybody thinks belong in the park.
  20. you should put that 20ft box/rail in that you have sitting by the snowboard school. please dont put it in the lower park. it belongs in a real park. its just going to get beat to shit by people who have no idea what they are doing down there. and we got it. sounds sick. is it mellow or hardcore rolls?
  21. i'll be there all day with the Freeriders. i cant wait to see the park. it should be gooooood like before. see ya there
  22. dont like you? you bring the facts. keep us posted with what is going on, especially in the park.
  23. when the government funded weather website starts saying that there is potential for snow... its usually a good sign. hopefully this weekend i will be able to ski in some powder.
  24. yeah challenge could really use it too, along with the bottom of main street.
