  1. They always are…I’m glad I haven’t had to slum it at camelback and I prob would have if they were open this weekend and blue was not.
  2. See you Sunday at Blue…bring some extra captains wafers for me.
  3. @saltyant which day do you return home from Utah?
  4. In comments they are looking at future weather to determine if they will continue operations beyond this weekend.
  5. It’s supposed to rain on Saturday that’s a half a week away maybe we do another party on Sunday I’ll bring more champagne. Anybody have OJ??
  6. That’s what they’re charging. Damn. And I’m glad blue is only charging $50 for season passholders from other mountains. Ski2Live has other plans already lol. I’m stoked for razors this weekend and burma. Woo woo woo and another weekend roll call thread around Thursday.
  7. Ok we can sleep in. Glad I didn’t take my skis out of my car or my beers. @saltyant this is getting good.
  8. Ok save money for the fine dining. Might even buy a sweater vest for that trip so I don’t look like a tourist or those fleece vests ski shop employees wear and turtlenecks usually I wear tourist t shirts my parents gave me or blue shirts with random grease stain but gotta class it up for Aspen.
  9. Nice report and I like chalky snow on steep pitches grippy but still fast and that’s the kind of snow I can ski a lot of vertical without getting beat up like the powder chowder push piles
  10. I saw Basalt also. Johnny style is nice, I hate staying at peoples houses. That was the last time I think except when I stays with brother in laws family in Tahoe and they’re a bunch of assholes. Keep all the stoke going!!! We need it. Oh maybe you can give me a ride to the mall lol
  11. @Barb I really need to get back to Aspen…I had pretty bad altitude sickness when I was out there more than a decade ago and also stayed at Johnny styles house near campground lift at snowmass and only had supper in town once. There’s like 80 restaurants I wanna eat at all of them. I might have to bite the bullet and force myself to go next season maybe stay in Carbondale since it’s lower.
  12. 2021 on this day and that was a baller season..snowed a ton and Coming soon opened on natural snow and stayed open for weeks. Closing day that season was 3/27. The last time Blue was open in April was April 2, 2018 and that was a pow day. Maybe I’ll bump the thread for stoke.
  13. Nice report and how much does the parking pass cost?
  14. Blue is now not selling tickets for this Friday and only selling night tickets for 3/29
  15. We all just want closure. Unless they open this weekend top to bottom which I doubt, I’d rather had them say,”that’s all folks” goodbye but being open for night skiing Sunday was odd and yes they never even said they wouldn’t be open during this week.
  16. So why not run the OG six pack then. I was also thinking if they did something like this maybe sell a spring pass…
  17. How deep do you think they’d have to blow challenge, falls and homestretch to make late April. Not so much now but once we get into April…unless it’s abnormally cold, that sun angle just vaporizes them snow so fast.
  18. Barb some days I don’t even feel like going to blue rather sleep in or go to work but I go just so I can write a report and always glad I went.
  19. It shows how much longer lasting the early runs held up that they blew on all season vs the late arrivals. The last day sidewinder was open I skied it a lot and same with the last day of challenge and the chute. I’ve never skied the chute so much. That’s the spot for the early corn. Later corn on Razorback and first section of sidewinder.
  20. Scenerios for this weekend at Blue..I’ll choose 3wish @saltyant or @pops was around could prob come up with 5but let’s see. 1. only open for cardboard box derby and Easter egg hunt. 2. option 1 plus skiing and riding on easy out and vista with some sort of a bonk yard rail garden on school hill. 3. option 1 plus 2 plus they go hard blowing snow for like five hours each two nights this week and piece together a top to bottom route for the weekend using one of their famous high speed quads. You want slow lifts, blue is the wrong place.
  21. I walked by those with my mom and parents and sisters dogs when my parents stayed near the other end of the lake and people staying in them..I recognize them I was there in august and crazy crowded. There were like 25 people In line for ice cream place like line outside around the building. Sheesh I don’t even like ice cream that much.
  22. That’s what I’m saying, I feel like part of being on PASR is posting up reports with some pictures. I honestly only like taking pictures of sandwiches or selfies with drunk people at the bar but I try to include pictures on my ski trips for the culture. big boulder ugh 😩 but at least they’re providing something and looked decent in C1ers post. The top of razors yesterday may have been mad River Glen or Valdez Alaska compared to big boulder. Now the liftee I know said Blue had snow stockpiles somewhere. I don’t know Oz thinks they’re gonna blow later this week. They could hmmmm
  23. They don’t offer refunds, just credit so any tickets booked those days they prob wont be open they can use next season. Great idea from a cash flow perspective.
