Does that happen every year?

First time I’ve seen it.  The first 10 years they had the pool there were no frogs. About 5-6 years ago some frogs showed up and there are more and more each year.  I’d say there were about 8 frogs in there each night during last summer.  Loud as hell lol

amazing how nature found its way to a new body of water

So frogs can handle chlorinated water? Go figure

Oh yea.  Getting them out before putting the cover on for the winter is a pain in the ass

Never had tadpoles/frogs in ours, just salamanders and a drowned bat once in the skimmer.
Thought it was a mouse at first.  Wife found it and freaked out.

Don’t eat the bat, please.

No worries!
Luckily it was already drowned, so no chance of bite.
Used rubber gloves to extract and disposed of them using proper rubber glove removal techniques.
Dropped in an extra back of shock just to make the wife happy.

Added a rack to my paddleboard and put a rod holder, paddle holder, and cupholder on it...I was gonna make my own rack but PVC seemed too flimsy and to bend my own out of aluminum was going to end up only costing like $40 less than buying a new one...plus I dont have a TIG welder to weld aluminum.
