momskeeztoo
So, we are thinking about going up to Elk Saturday, Feb. 16. How crowded does Elk get on a holiday weekend? I've only ever been there during the week. Unfortunately, with work schedules is not an option this year. I can handle a little crowded, but does it get as bad as Bear or Blue on a weekend afternoon? rummy
President's Day weekend is usually the busiest weekend of the season. Sat worse than Sunday, I've seen 30 min lift lines, including quad lines backed up almost all the way to the parking lot. We usually skip this weekend. Winter
I'd skip it. If you go, the trick is to get some early turns in, break for an early lunch and get back out when the lunch crowd comes in. Otoh, it can't be worse than bear creek. GrommetRaceCoach
My kid is on the race team at Elk and I'm skipping saturday. Plan on making early turns sunday and hitting the lounge for an early beverage once the lines fill up. Anyone else heading up?
