oldtimeskier
Not the biggest fan of CB but enjoyed the video. Some of the old footage reminded me of learning to ski forty years ago at my uncle's place at Arrowhead Lakes. It was a tiny hill with a tow rope, but for a kid from the inner city (philly) I thought I was in the Swiss Alps! Thanks for posting.

sibhusky
Bernie!! He and his daughter skied with Siblet and I on occasion. He'd ski down with a cup of coffee and a hoagie, taking a bite as he hit little jumps. Edited March 4, 2014 by sibhusky

EdBacon
Hey I just realized I have a Camelback 50th Anniversary sticker in my desk drawer. Anyone want to buy it off me? It's in mint condition, never been used.

You give me the sticker and $5.00. 1 1

Most rich people I've met are bros except for Nazareth Jay. They bought the resort for 70 million back in 2013..a bargain considering the purchase included camelbeach.. saltyant
Wow, what a great video. Steeze was right about where the trail name "Honeymoon" came from. Too bad it didn't explain who Marjie is. My goal is to be just like Bernie who has been skiing Camelback for over 35 years and hits speeds of 50, 60, even 70 miles per hour. It looks likes its ontop of a plateua way off base It's pretty convenient. Just a short distance from the Stevenson Lift over flat terrain. if you decide to stay there, don't use ski check because they misplaced someone's poles the other day. Also, don't get caught with skis in the elevator because there's a sign saying that's not allowed.
