@saltyant my sources are telling me the snowmaking ponds are robust and this isn’t subjective or objective or even anecdotal from the raindrops pitter pattering on the window sill it’s fact..and please don’t go chasing waterfalls..

Pretty cool. WV resorts were making snow as well.

Blue says they are gonna blow again tonight.  Extended forecast isn’t grate but can always trend colder.  One of my friends is in Nashville and it snowed there and even chillier than here.

i was kind of thinking this was all gonna be for show, i mean, there are only a few more guns that they could turn on in front of cameras.  

but, yeah, the forecast could change, and then they end up behind on snowmaking.  i just hope this amounts to something.

I'm sure they'd love to lay some more down in the valley to stick around for Ullr Fest this Saturday. Snow on the ground would raise the stoke level among the regular folk for sure!

Any thoughts on the earliest they could manage a Vista opening? Want turns closer than Rutland VT or Banner Elk NC

Belleayre will likely be the first day trippable area to open

They are really getting after it this morning, so i would think they would announce Vista opening pretty soon.

They haven't even cleared the stage away from tubbing yet (or maybe they just cover it with snow?) so you know they aren't super-serious about snowmaking yet!

I wonder if that's where the bonfire will be for Ullr Fest or if it will be right in the horseshoe area by the lifts

i was thinking the same thing when i saw they were making snow the other morning.  But the whales on Homiestretch seen to be holding up well.

The parks instagram showed efforts on school hill.  I wonder if they’ll start with a hike park up there to claim first in PA.
