Gloves or Mittens?

PASRs seem to like Hestra gloves..cost $100-150 but last many years. I've always used Da Kine gloves which are more like $75. I'll won't do mittens..not as good grip

I've always used dakine, they seem to last a pretty long time.

My 5-fingered Hestras are on their 6th season of being ridden hard and put away wet.

Couple of seams have started to tear, but a little thread took care of them.

However, I did steal the son's Hestra Lobster mitten liners which were 5-fingered, as my thumbs developed holes too big to be repaired.

Love the bungie strap to prevent accidental drop from the lift when checking phone, etc.

Not good in the rain at all, as the leather just soaks up water and then they weigh a ton.

Agree.... I will add that you do have to do some maintenance with the leather on the hestra

I made that mistake once. Cold wet hands sucks. Now I hit them up with the balm right after any exposure to wet weather and they have never done that again. Smells nice too.

Yeah, if/when they get wet, I put them on the dryer.

Once they're dry, I lather on some of the conditioning goop to bring them back to their soft, supple condition.
