what day do you leave?

Saturday. They still have time to sort out those avalanches. Or else.

The weather's bad though. Only a few weeks ago a similar thing has happened in France, sudden massive snowfall, resorts paralyzed with wind, cut out villages, and now the same stuff is going on here.

You'll be fine..ski trips aren't the time to be pessimistic.

Wow I thought it was ice cube!!

Here's another very cool pic from Jungfraujoch. This one was accidental because I couldn't figure out how to aim my cell phone camera for some reason.

Also, an ultra high quality mountain shot from my Jitterbug:

You make plenty of money.  Get a real phone.  It doesn't even have to be an iPhone X...an 8 will do.

Are those Prada unisex sunglasses.  Nazareth Jay gave me a pair of his wife's lol

I don't know what they were. I had to buy a pair of sunglasses for 10 francs so I wouldn't go blind up there in the mountains, and that's what I went with.

Salty please tell me that you brought, at the very least, a DSLR camera to Europe and didn't rely solely on your Jitterbug. That mountain shot looks like it was taken with a civil war camera.

Yeah, I brought my 2008 Canon PowerShot, so I have some really good pics. It still takes great pics for today's standards. I was going to say I brought a Poloroid but I promised to stop trolling. It was my new year's resolution.

It's certainly looking brighter today. If yesterday they had only 88/305km of piste open, now it's 198/305km with 68/88 lifts.

Whoo-hoo, we've made it there!

The roads were so windy that some of us got hit by motion sickness. There's zero snow in Zurich, green grass and singing birds, but in Warth at the mountain base at 1400m elevation there's half a meter cover still left from the last storm. That's all despite +5C during the day and some rain two days ago.
