If you are going to get uptight about skiing over rocks, at this point in the season, you should just hang your shit up.  It aint gonna get better.

Did you go complain to the people at Mountain Creek, or do you just complain constantly online?

Oh geez, there is certainly nothing to complain about here. Skied some dirt, skimmed a few puddles, overturned a couple of rocks. MC is completely melt down, and their FB lies. But that's OK, that's just local climate and attitude.

This is why everyone should have a pair of dedicated rock skis.

Yeah, that's a good advice. I'd go with that if I knew conditions ahead of time. In fact, if I knew the conditions, I'd just skip MC altogether.

How damaged are your skis??

They're fine. Yeah, I found my way down a few times, can't really call it skiing, almost went back to the car but then noticed that small Vista-like slope that didn't melt yet with a dedicated lift. And so stayed there for a little longer.

I don’t think you’d like skiing a place like mad river glen...I like the rowdiness of low tide conditions.
