12/11/25…very nice..empty

Hey all,

 

I’m back from another fun morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain.  I arrived at the lower lot around 825am and Johnny law was already there.  Also in the house were Atomic Jeff, Mixilplix, Nastar Glenn, Bethlehem ford crew and a handful of others.  
 

First run on Paradise was very nice smooth stiff cord, next run on Coming soon was similar even a bit better.  I skied coming soon a few more times and aside from a few yahoos on lower paradise, people in the way weren’t much of an issue.  Over to the super summit safari six and my inaugural run on Curzis cabin to midway to lower main.  Smooth enough and a bit crispy but not bad for recently being opened.  Lazy mile is open and I didn’t ski it. 
 

Back for a few more on coming soon and then ended the session with another Widowmaker to midway to lower Main Street.  It was a bit windy but really just lower paradise was it annoying.  Temperatures were in the mid to upper 20s and they were blowing snow on upper Main Street and come around.   The lack of water is a stoke stomper, with this stretch of cold they’d be on challenge falls and razors by now but the forecast looks Grate.  Ski most of you this weekend.  JADIP

Blue continues to deliver and today was another magical day up on the hill. 

Much warmer than Tuesday and with as good if not better snow.

Coming Soon was sooo good I wasn't pushing hard enough until the 4th or 5th run where I tried to keep Maverick in my sights. Early season at blue normally sucks balls so it's like fuck make some full speed turns. 

Raceway,mid, main was awesome and it's always half way to midnight when you get that sublime rush of acceleration into lower main.

I took one on lazy to see what's up and it was about as expected though only moderate cookies for blue. The only actual turn on that trail was a mix of like 900 different snows.

This weekend should be tits Mcgee but I don't see them getting something else open super fast. Everything else has nothing on it and I think they are trying to kick the can on water and see if they can't get a melt.

Today was really nice. I didn't see any of you all except for @Mixilplix who I rode with for almost 2 hours. Conditions are great for only open one week. Paradise was lovely and Lower Main was pretty perfect. Good to be out, take it easy, and see how things go. Always nice to ski white snow under full sun. Might get out again a few more times this season.

Dude there was like 8 peeps there how ? 

I get it if you want to ski alone but otherwise hit me up next time your up. I've had mad shit to do for dec so far but once Jan hits I'll be up all the time in the morning.

 So random seeing Toast today. Super nice conditions for early season. Only Lazy had some meh snow.  Raceway/Midway/Lower Main you could go Super Saiyan. Para remains unchanged with a nice surface.Did one TCS and it was good.

It's weird the only time I saw you guys was at opening...

Ships in the night kind of morning. I was there from 9-12 with a little break in there to go in the lower lodge and fire up the laptop for a bit. didn't really see anyone on the hill, but I did see Law in the lot when he was leaving and seemed pissed at the guy next to him but I was still a ways away and didn't get to actually talk to him before he left. 

 

Snow was great, could really let it rip out there but it got windier as the day went on and it was a little on the cold side.

How in the hell did we all miss eachother when we where the only ones there ?

 

Its a pet peeve for sure but I hate how people have zero fucking idea of space nor do they use their God damn eyes. Driving in general is hilariously stupid but all the fucking time at Blue there are 83838382 spaces and they park 3 inches off your door and 1000% always they are completely fucking clueless......exact same thing in skiing you pass and you know they had negative zero idea what the fuck is going on around them. My brain cannot stand that shit.
