12/13…quiet chilly Saturday.

I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain I arrived at the lower lot before 720am and was weird not seeing Johnny law already there.  The temperature was around 20 degrees under overcast sky’s.  Not a single snow gun was blowing.  In the house were NmSki, PaRidge, Atomic Jeff, JFDan, BenM, Mute, Bethlehem ford crew, PSUFly, Mixilplix, Bethlehem ford crew minus Jimmy and Falcos crew. 
 

First couple runs on Coming soon were sweet with no people and western grooming. Paradise was also real nice.  Over to the super summit six and raceway to midway to lower main was nice and smooth, some ice was exposed later on midway but not bad.  Upper Main Street and Barney’s bumps are now open and upper main was the typical opening cookies. 
 

Crowds were light to moderate, a few bottlenecks on the trails but nothing terrible. The crowd definitely more gooberish…even saw someone in the lot putting a super generous amount of baby powder on his feet..hopefully he saved some for his grundle and taint to avoid chafing.  I didn’t get on lazy mile but heard it was ok. Also didn’t see Pops and Enjo…all in all very nice conditions and pleasent skiing.

Today was awesome. Free fall first run was a soft cord dream. Everything was good except for upper main. To top it off, the summit s'mores latte always delivers 12 out of 10 day at Blue. Is it Dec or February??

Great to get out and see everyone...conditions were great...I'm used to early season cookies, but not bad at all

Fun morning on the mountain. Conditions were pretty good across the board. Maybe a half a point down from the past two days. Midway was startin to get a little scratchy. Top of main reminded me of how good the rest of the mountain is. TCS is firm, but still very pleasurable to ride down. Hurts the soul being this cold and no snow making going on.....

Rode from 5-8 today.  Surprised how nice conditions were.  Not crowded either
