Hey All,

I’m back from my he first powder day of the season at Blue mountain the true mountain. WOW I was up super early and tired and I looked outside and there were several inches of new snow..wow just wow.

Easy Easy drive to Blue, was wet roads mostly until the backside of the mountain. Arrived around 715am and it was in the upper 20s under cloudy sky’s with the snow ending. At Blue I’d say a solid 4-5” of new snow.  In the house was everybody except Schif, TP4, Nancy, NmSki, Zonked, Root, Ski2Live, Antman and RideDE.

Despite such an early arrival, I was second civilian quad…in #1 by Nelly he says two is just a number and three nobody remembers but even being second chair the lucky first chair peeps saved a little fresh on coming soon   The in run was boner doner with fresh fluff billowing over the boot  Coming soon was groomed sometime mid store so had a few inches of fluff over groomed..was delightful better conditions than most Rocky Mountain resorts have now

I skied a second run on coming soon and more Vermont conditions as the ice underneath was exposed.  Then over to X-ing to Barney’s to Main Street for some remaining fresh skied that again and then lazy mile for the first time this season and was crazy mile and alright.  I skied coming soon for the first time this season as well and was great with no features.

I ended my session with two runs on paradise as the 3D snow was bugging my knee   The upper 2/3 was great and smooth and last section a clusterfuck   Crowds were moderate and when I left looked like almost a full corral of people on the super summit safari six pack

Now I’m at work to shovel and count money before heading back to the hotel house to do THC experiments on myself   JADIP

Only six days until winter begins lol

First run on soon was a 10, then your standard post snowfall chop pow for the remainder. Maybe one of the better days at Blue overall in the past few years, let alone mid December.

The feeling today was sooo good. That first run down. TCS was pretty legit. Went over to Raceway/Mid/Main an you could see it getting cut up. Rest of the time I rode bumps. I suck at bumps, but  had a super fun time doin it. Plus it kept the general public away from me.

It's been a charmed life this past week...

Today was le tits, early season soft and light for any month in PA. Legit ditch pre Christmas.

First run was what its all about, just formation flying in the Pow all the way home. I could do that, fuck and eat Thai food for the rest of my life.

This season has started so good I almost don't want to acknowledge it for fear of fucking it up but my God for blue this is as good a start as possible.

It got sloppy a bit but the super fun good sloppy and by then it was time for blue to make money.

Boner donor day in a dream of a start.

Nice job, your phone is still at 72% charge even at 1:44 PM and I am very sad that I missed the free hot cocoa and perder runs, but I couldn't be out shoveling 8 inches of perder at 6 am to get to the True Mountain in time.

It took me like 20 minutes to shovel and salt 227 feet of walkways full width..very easy shovelling snow.  Almost took me that long to clean the snow off my car with the brush @RidgeRacer gave me a few years ago.  Even has a scrapper attached.  Cool beans.

Perfect conditions today. That was super fun.

snow at home was really heavy and plentiful. The neglected snowblower that was still tucked away in the shed started right up with some engine perfume, which was another added bonus for the day.
