Johnny Law Posted January 6 Report Posted January 6 Atomic, c1er and BFG in the house, I figured with the warm up it would be a sugar factory but shit at least looked good. Crowds were moderate, nothing crazy but some lines without the old six running. Razors was first on the menu as not only was it open but it looked good as well. Sugar free, smooth, creamy fast cord that had mad grip, push that shit to 109% and slut it up for the plebs still coming up the lift. NMDW was even better as the top sequence was the same but the real cherry you could 100% the lower left. Main particularly lower was less good, more sugar and more bouncy with sharks lurking only slightly below the surface. Switch was ok but more icy and Challenge more uneven but why did you leave Razors/NMDW in the first place. Overall the snow was way better than I would have thought and full speed turns on Rasins is always worth the price of admission 👍 PSA Oz mentioned it but like the rest of us the police haven't done shit in weeks and are everywhere. I saw 11 on my drive back, all in bs speed change zones. My general approach to driving is to channel my inner Dick Tickle but mind your p's and q's today. 4 1

Oz said he saw 6 from MacArthur to Blue at like 730 in the morning.

There’s usually a Whitehall cop lurking a little past Taco Bell in a dark empty parking lot weekend mornings. Got me two years ago for expired registration but no fine.

Local cops don't need radar to give a speeding ticket as I received one on 946 a couple years ago. He was sitting on Lilly Hill Rd for anyone that comes that way.

The other morning I was so early the disco lights over at tubing were still flashing..low key if Cyndi Lauper true colors would have come on or even a Steve winwood song I might have gotten goosebumps. 2

The whole mountain will have them probably next year. Amazing that the lines are so long but I just ran NMDW and switch with no one on them 2

Skiing alone some runs this last week, I rode the lift with some young stuntahs or JibHonks and they were like let’s take Come around park to Yeti park to Central Park and the other is like we can’t do all that in one run and other is like doesn’t matter you won’t do anything cool..sick burn 3

I did lol at your snow rating, crowd rating was spot on. Snow felt like it wanted to freeze but never did and was quite pleasant. Saw DirtW and Atomic(!). Only made it on the blues and greens as we had fresh skiers learning. Still was a grate time. I’ll be up tomorrow for a rare midweek morning. 5

I had gone to drop a layer and check on our friends who were getting rentals. It was way warmer than I thought it would be. 1
Dirtwolf Posted January 7 Report Posted January 7 I enjoyed the snow last night and the warm temps were a certainly a nice break from what we have had for the past few weeks. Always fun to slow things down and it is good practice for what is in store for my future. 2
