1/7/26 - Sidewinder Is Back

Warm start and the creamy goodness is still plentiful. Saw Atomic, c1?, and Marty getting after it. NMDW was my ROTM but Raisins, CS, and Raceway/Mid/Lower were full throttle.

Sidewinder 3D snow is twice the size was last year. Hard to find a consistent line and stick with it. Def was the slowest run of the day but fun hitting all the angles.

Only rode until 1020 to get to my 11 am meeting but I'll take a Blue morning any day of the week.

Reports of my presence are exaggerated unfortunately. Someone else must have a jacket like mine. 
 

I really wanted to ski today, had a chance to go to Elk but turned it down because I have a work project that turned into a black hole. Thought I might do a Raw session but no gas in the tank left. Feeling old today 😞

Maybe a Raw session tomorrow?

My bad, I think it was c1er then. I’m a noob to the midweek crowd.

It was so warm a lot of people had spring coats on and look different

Good time had by all this morning. Decided to let Sidewinder marinate a few more days. Seemed to be some patroller rating testing going on. Adaptive skier crew was on the bunny slopes and the slope side lot was roped off for busses. Fairly light crowd early.

Rode the night shift as work just kept getting in the way. Mad kids around but absolutely zero pass holders so straight on the lift.

Snow was still creamy on top but had some good rowdy piles and mega ruts.

Razors was the best just mega active fast feet and hucking your meat to avoid the punji pits. Turn, turn again to go around the bomb hole then use the speed bump they worked in to air the next bomb hole and rinse and repeat.

Shit was a mega hootenany and when's its good rowdy I'd argue the night session can be more fun as its a lot more interesting getting down the hill......I feel like I've said it since we quit nights but I gotta work on my night moves more often.
