1/8 - PM Session - Top Lodge Thursdays

Just returned from an evening TLT (Top Lot Thursday) session.  Alpine Adam was in the house.  Unfortunately, J-Money had an appointment at the salon for a cut/color so he wasn’t able to join us (maybe next week?).

 

Had an epic time riding all evening under those glorious floodlights. And holy groomers, Batman – the conditions were absolutely excellent.

 

Enter the local ski club teenagers. Oh boy. It was like someone dumped five high school race teams and a terrain park posse onto the hill at once. Sidewinder and the parks were basically a mosh pit of baggy pants, GoPro helmets, and kids straight-lining everything while yelling "SEND IT!" Dodging them felt like playing real-life Frogger, but on skis. Around 7pm the little shredders started migrating to the lodge for hot chocolate and TikTok breaks.

 

Lines at the six-pack were mercifully short, snowmaking crew deserves a medal for keeping everything pristine, and the night vibe with the lights glowing on the snow? Chef's kiss. Ended the session with zero regrets, legs properly toasted, and a solid 10 runs in just a few hours.

 

Overall, a fantastic evening – the teens added some chaotic energy (free entertainment!), but the epic conditions made it all worthwhile. Blue Mountain, you win again. I'll be back...
