indiggio Posted Sunday at 12:15 AM Report Posted Sunday at 12:15 AM Back from another grate day at Solitude. Thought about going elsewhere but figured everyone was gonna head up LCC because of the recent storm, so decided to stay away from there. Arrived at the mountain to 9 degrees, crystal clear skies and squeaky snow. The place looked beautiful with the new coat of snow. Avy explosions were going off all around the area. Up the Moonbeam and down to the Apex on pristine groomed Western cruiser. Lapped the Apex until 8 when the other lifts start loading. It was cold, but running laps on the bump runs warmed me up each time. Pockets of fresh were still around in the trees and the bumps were firm and edgeable. Up the Sunrise and over to the Summit lift the just recently opened. Lapped the Summit lift a few times then back down to the Apex and out. Wife needs more ski equipment, so headed home to go shopping. JADIP 6 2
