Last minute detour from work…28° at noon sunny and calm . Skied for an hour: Barneys , Coming Soon, The Chute all had some nice bumps. It was nice to ski some natural bumps for a change. Main st had some scratchy spots and some cookies.

Blue could add some trails to their trail count? Lots of traffic under the lifts this week 🤪

I haven’t been to Blue since the storm..work and feeling crappy.

Slowly changing from soft cord to frozen cord in the morning. Slopes were in good shape first thing except lower main. Looks like they blew some light snow to touch things up last night, except on lower main they blew water. Big patch of brownish ice all down the middle of the slope. Must have had the computer turn off the snowmaking after grooming and never checked it. Surprised the opening snow patrol run didn’t flag it.  Upper Main and Switch were great.

Rode with C1er and Oz this morning, apparently yesterday they decided to fuck some shit up and blow. While they had a few spots it seems they generally chilled for today as most everything was excellent.

Crowds continued to be minimal with it being cold again and you could turn the dial to maximum slutting it up.

Absolutely the best part the upper left on nmdw has just enough of a flat spot to add an air in which just makes that all the more enjoyable.

Someone in another thread was throwing shade but I disagree without the JH guys and Atomic in particular Oz gets big for his britches. I had to listen to a whole chair ride of nob gobbling at 913 in the morning and it wasn't even him doing the gobbling.

Much better experience on lower Main today. That will teach me not to open up my turns before I know what the slope is like. Spent most of the morning on the Main St lift. Switch was ROTD. With Razors closed, half of Freefall bumped up, NMDW was a zoo by the time I hit it. If they put features on that…..

Raw session 4-6:30 … Nice snow on top but getting very firm. Good for GS turns but if you set an  aggressive edge you can feel the concrete. Did coming soon bumps then chute. Chutes holding up pretty well considering. Barneys not so much.

Rode with Oz, Atomic was in the house too but with all the herbs I never saw him.

Between it being front plate Friday and them having a race the lower lot was full at like 803. They also still refuse to run the og six which made the quad line extra long from the bell.

Snow continues to be generally spectacular with those occasional spots mixed in where they blew snot.

Nmdw continues to really shine and id still be out there if not for the crowds.

Someone said it on the lift and as sad as it is to say it's true. Blue has become CB and CB has become blue. I'm sure the revenue optimization plan says don't run the og 6 but look out the windows.

Switch and upper Main were great, so was skiers left of lower main. Midway needed some loose stuff on top. Oz and JLaw are hard to miss when you are watching the action from the lift.

Correct. Shit was howling around here…still is. I’ll go tomorrow.

Surprisingly, there is a decent amount of people in the valley still. Or perhaps unsurprisingly. I just had a very nasty Allentown flu which had me bedridden for 3 days, so no way I was going out this weekend.

Hey @saltyant what’s your stall speed lol. Mount Pocono you could fly with the engine shut down lol

You could just straight line anything you wanted to. I thought the wind would expose some hard spots, but there was grip everywhere. Usually on a day like this one of the lifts shuts down, but damn they kept them runnin(as far as I know)..

Mad peeps in the house especially for the low temps. Today was warmer though it didn't always feel like it.

Everything continues to be good to very good and with the gusts you can 11 whatever you want.

ROTD was coming soon or main and super shout out to mute for the beer. In my brain nothing tastes more like NE skiing.

I met the elusive hoodie today and mad props.... had I known
