AirheadD8 Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 Last minute detour from work…28° at noon sunny and calm . Skied for an hour: Barneys , Coming Soon, The Chute all had some nice bumps. It was nice to ski some natural bumps for a change. Main st had some scratchy spots and some cookies. Blue could add some trails to their trail count? Lots of traffic under the lifts this week 🤪 I haven’t been to Blue since the storm..work and feeling crappy. 7
C1erArt Posted Wednesday at 07:48 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 07:48 PM Slowly changing from soft cord to frozen cord in the morning. Slopes were in good shape first thing except lower main. Looks like they blew some light snow to touch things up last night, except on lower main they blew water. Big patch of brownish ice all down the middle of the slope. Must have had the computer turn off the snowmaking after grooming and never checked it. Surprised the opening snow patrol run didn’t flag it. Upper Main and Switch were great. 2 1

Johnny Law Posted Thursday at 06:03 PM Report Posted Thursday at 06:03 PM Rode with C1er and Oz this morning, apparently yesterday they decided to fuck some shit up and blow. While they had a few spots it seems they generally chilled for today as most everything was excellent. Crowds continued to be minimal with it being cold again and you could turn the dial to maximum slutting it up. Absolutely the best part the upper left on nmdw has just enough of a flat spot to add an air in which just makes that all the more enjoyable. Someone in another thread was throwing shade but I disagree without the JH guys and Atomic in particular Oz gets big for his britches. I had to listen to a whole chair ride of nob gobbling at 913 in the morning and it wasn't even him doing the gobbling. 3 4
C1erArt Posted Friday at 12:19 AM Report Posted Friday at 12:19 AM Much better experience on lower Main today. That will teach me not to open up my turns before I know what the slope is like. Spent most of the morning on the Main St lift. Switch was ROTD. With Razors closed, half of Freefall bumped up, NMDW was a zoo by the time I hit it. If they put features on that….. 1
AirheadD8 Posted Friday at 12:59 AM Author Report Posted Friday at 12:59 AM Raw session 4-6:30 … Nice snow on top but getting very firm. Good for GS turns but if you set an aggressive edge you can feel the concrete. Did coming soon bumps then chute. Chutes holding up pretty well considering. Barneys not so much. 1
C1erArt Posted Friday at 09:20 AM Report Posted Friday at 09:20 AM They blew some stuff on Chute Wednesday night. 1 1
Johnny Law Posted Friday at 05:14 PM Report Posted Friday at 05:14 PM Rode with Oz, Atomic was in the house too but with all the herbs I never saw him. Between it being front plate Friday and them having a race the lower lot was full at like 803. They also still refuse to run the og six which made the quad line extra long from the bell. Snow continues to be generally spectacular with those occasional spots mixed in where they blew snot. Nmdw continues to really shine and id still be out there if not for the crowds. Someone said it on the lift and as sad as it is to say it's true. Blue has become CB and CB has become blue. I'm sure the revenue optimization plan says don't run the og 6 but look out the windows. 7
C1erArt Posted Friday at 08:44 PM Report Posted Friday at 08:44 PM Switch and upper Main were great, so was skiers left of lower main. Midway needed some loose stuff on top. Oz and JLaw are hard to miss when you are watching the action from the lift. 2
AtomicSkier Posted Friday at 10:11 PM Report Posted Friday at 10:11 PM Today was nice, and felt warmer than expected. No wind helped. I did 3 challenges in a row. Good shit. 3 1
saltyant Posted Saturday at 03:05 PM Report Posted Saturday at 03:05 PM I think this is everyone who is not skiing at Blue today, lawl 2

Surprisingly, there is a decent amount of people in the valley still. Or perhaps unsurprisingly. I just had a very nasty Allentown flu which had me bedridden for 3 days, so no way I was going out this weekend.

Popular Post Johnny Law Posted Saturday at 04:43 PM Popular Post Report Posted Saturday at 04:43 PM JF, Atomic, Mixil in the house. It was cold af, maybe the coldest day I've skied in PA but it wasn't insane. The wind was both ok and trying to blow you off the mtn. On the headwall of challenge a gust blew so hard I thought I would come to a stop and then a second later your at full speed. The snow though is still pretty good and the crowds non existent. I rode until I needed to defrost my fingers but it wasn't the day to dick around anyways. Bonus points awarded to anyone who made it out today, that's an all time wind for a windy place. 9 1
Mixilplix Posted Saturday at 09:48 PM Report Posted Saturday at 09:48 PM You could just straight line anything you wanted to. I thought the wind would expose some hard spots, but there was grip everywhere. Usually on a day like this one of the lifts shuts down, but damn they kept them runnin(as far as I know).. 1
Johnny Law Posted Sunday at 05:31 PM Report Posted Sunday at 05:31 PM Mad peeps in the house especially for the low temps. Today was warmer though it didn't always feel like it. Everything continues to be good to very good and with the gusts you can 11 whatever you want. ROTD was coming soon or main and super shout out to mute for the beer. In my brain nothing tastes more like NE skiing. I met the elusive hoodie today and mad props.... had I known 5
