Popular Post GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted February 14 Popular Post Report Posted February 14 Hey All, I’m back from a fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot before 720am and it was in the mid 20s under partly sunny skies. In the house was everybody except BenM, Mixilplix, Root, Angryhugo and Zonked. I overdressed so when I went in to pee I dropped a layer and stuck my green fleece on top of the lockers…something I’ve never done but I’m a progressive guy. I think their civilian OG six pack cause my gate was slow to open and first run on Challenge which was not very good…some slick and crunchy as they must have blown some elephant snot on it overnight. Switchback was OK, some smooth some crunchies, lazy Mile I found to be pretty nice along with coming soon early. Main Street was ok…midway was small cookies and Paradise was pretty nice. I mostly skied with Airhead and SaltyAnt wow salty is a pole planting pro…I was in awe just watching. Crowds were moderate to heavy, no real liftlines while I was skiing but with all three high speeds running the trails were quite crowded. I went on sidewinder once and it wasn’t that good..that run gets so much traffic and people throw their skis sideways a lot due to all the roof rollers that it goes to shit fast. Nightmare Dreamweaver is now a terrain park and I finished my session with a paraweaver and Dreamweaver had pretty icy and chunky snow. Skiing overall was ok to good and the parking lot was fun and with the warm weather I hung out in the lot way longer than I skied and prob have sunburn..When I left around 130ish there were a shit ton of people and I had to be aggressive to get out of the lot in a timely fashion with all the people across the street… Ski most of you tomorrow JADIP 10 1

Salty might be onto something there with that flailing motion. Had I been using his technique I probably wouldn’t have been cut off at the bottom of Homestretch. 2 1
saltyant Posted February 14 Report Posted February 14 Grate report and WJW, 130 is pretty late. I had to pole plant aggressively to generate additional speed to keep up with Grilled Steeze Sandwich, it worked because ironically my pole planting distraction slowed down Mr. Sandwich.
