A few days in Action Jackson (Hole)

Considering The generally crappy status  of the west early February. think it was pretty good. Hiked up Snow King one day for the heck of it.  For those who like to hike and want a day hit something different I recommend.

Sorry not  much for picture stoke but the ther crew was there a week earlier. I am definitely feeling more comfortable in the side country off Rendevous (don’t go if you don’t know lol … all were beeping and has shovel and probe).

best run of week was Beartooth line if you hike Headwall   It always seems to hold snow well and doesn’t get much sun or wind.

Nice report CaptDave you always seem to go to JH around early February. Definitely wasn’t that busy this year.  On one of my solo JH trips I walked to snow king from the 49er and met ladies at the bar on some work trip and took their shuttle bus back to town square and that was the same trip I got busted for open container.  Snow king has changed a lot but still steep AF and I’ve only skied it once.
