2/21….semi spring Saturday.

Hey all,

 

I’m back from another morning at Blue mountain the true mountain.  I arrived at the lower lot before 720am and everybody was in the house except PARidge, AngryHugo, PSUFrankenstein, SaltyAnt and Schifdawg.  The temperature was in the mid to upper 30s under overcast sky’s.  
 

I was like fifth civilian OG six pack as some of the scanners let people out early.  I skied Paradise first cause challenge looked bad and it was alright refrozen snow but smooth.  I did paradise again then switchback which was alright although some pebbles and thin areas here and there.  There was also a giant skeet spot that went from shuttle to lower paradise.  
 

I hit up challenge and it was pretty solid and not that smooth, lazy mile was decent and I skied that a few times.  Coming soon was surprisingly good pretty smooth and I skied that twice.  Crowds were moderate to heavy, it didn’t seem as crowded as last weekend but almost as crowded.  
 

Fun parking lot had a few beers and some banter, seems like every week another PASR got his wife pregnant, we are a fertile bunch…as I said before I’d have about 1,000 kids if my old tube socks could get pregnant.  
 

ski most of you tomorrow it might be snowing.

I like your selfie camera pic..... today was better than I thought and way better than first challenge run. 

Switch was rotd or probably nmdw if you got a clean release.

Good parking lot weather too is very nice.....I say 12" tomorrow but I'm an eternal optimist.

Thanks the front facing camara isn’t working. It better work itself by Monday because I take a lot of pictures of tombstones and don’t want a new phone.

Late start, Jr decided he wants to ski in Arizona with me in a couple weeks. He overslept and we didn’t get to Blue until 10:30 . 44° , Mashed potatoes, ruts and everything was bumping up. He hadn’t skied in two years so he only did about 5 runs and his legs were jelly so he quit.

I  told him if we get a powder day in Az there’re are no friends or relatives 🙃.

I stayed out till 12:30 and skied Barneys and the Chute. Had a blast It doesn’t get any better for spring. It hit 50° on the way home. 
 

I wanted to hang for a beer but the truck was 12 deep, the west lot was 3/4 full.
