The groomers were pretty brick early but that sun softened things up as the temps rose. I wanted to go into Black Forrest area but nobody else was heading there and since I was solo I stuck where people were going. I got lucky and took both of my runs in Honeycomb with ski patrol.

I hear ya!  I've not ventured into a number of areas since I'm typically solo and can't get a view from below to scope them out, so I have no idea what's lurking out there to get me into trouble.   However, eventually curiosity gets the best of me and I go snooping...

But like you said, its kinda short runs.  Solitude clearly doesnt flow like Brighton does.  And honeycomb, i guess we skied it wrong or it was broken that day, cause it didnt jump out to me as a must repeat.

That place is deceptively steep. Not to mention it has a run with my favorite trail name of all time…”here be dragons”.

Reminds me of imagine dragons which is radical @Kyle might listen to them when he’s pounding a monster energy drink and punching holes in the drywall lol

I think that is correct. Sorry Honeycomb was broken while you were there. It has been up and running both times that I've been there, luckily.

I’d rather listen to skittolive give an hour long presentation on season passes and their value per snow particle on open trails

I want to get one of those trail signs, but they don't seem to have one in the shop.

It looks even worse now with not a lot of snow...
