Large Bluetooth speaker playing loud house music, charcoal grille missing a leg, the beach blanket is a recycled child’s comforter, they sit near the trash cans but don’t actually throw any trash in them, just around them.

Wildwood? Camelback is more in the NYC market. I'm thinking more of a trashy Atlantic City vibe. Sneakers in the sand, a lot of "Do you know who my uncle is?" kind of vibe. Yankees hats, Staten Island fake chains, GTL kind of people who skip the G part a little too often.

Wow they even made snow on Pharaoh/Bactrian last night along with Nile and Cliff - likely more snowmaking tonight

Expecting 3 TTB runs open for my Baskin Robbins Day this weekend

What’s the baskin Robbin’s day about? Is this something I should google?

They blew some snow after they groomed, and the ski patrol was at the top of the lift warning people about sticky patches. They weren’t kidding, first run down Nile caused more than one person to do a face plant. I had to sit way back to stay on my skis when hitting those patches. After a half hour things were a lot better. Not so bad on Pharaoh where they just touched up thin areas.

Heard someone whose wife was in admin there say all they needed was to sell 100 day passes to pay for the snow blowing. Lot D was completely full and overflowing to the adventure center lot when I left.

Perfectly groomed Nile Mile this morning. Good coverage on Pharaoh until a little later on when some of the gravel started showing up. Bactrian got a little narrow in spots. Big shout out to Oz and crew for stopping near the bottom of Pharaoh and cleaning up some of the gravel on the snow. Also,  some of the yellow coats cleaned up some gravel on Bactrian.IMG_4095.thumb.jpeg.72b338f86f31614963939c7289ce4ba8.jpeg

I have a hike scheduled Saturday morning at Mt. Minsi. Should wrap up around noon.

Think I'll head over to CBK afterwards. Looks fun.

Excellent morning as C1erArt was posting - Nile Mile was a carving dream unitl around 11 - Then the crowd showed up - Not massive, but enough to fill the trail with obsticles.  Pharoh went detriot rock city by 10, do not see that trail making it past tomorrows warm up.  Cliffhanger was closed early - Got a couple of runs in before we left, pretty spicy at the top - mid and lower was fun as the bumps were more consistent in spacing.

Won’t be remotely the same next weekend with highs in the 80s forecast for Wed and Thurs followed by rain on Friday

Started the lifts 10 minutes early today. The flats on Bactrian pretty sketchy, but it was open. Ran it on my rock skis before I switched to my wide skis around 10. Nile got pretty soft and crowded, but still fun.
A guy had a MI on the slope above Trails End. Don’t think he made it. They put an AED and Lucas vest on him. Rescue handled it pretty professionally.

What’s an MI?

Myocardial infarction, heart attack. One type is a STMI, which shows up in the S to T region of a EKG. Afterwards I was on the lift with a St Luke’s cardiac person who assisted.  Actually, I’m not sure where it occurred. They sledded him down and was working on him near Trails End restaurant.
