Popular Post RidgeRacer Posted March 28 Popular Post Report Posted March 28 Just back from a cold, sunshiny final Saturday morning at Blue mountain, the ski resort located in the ridge and valley physiographic portion of the Appalachian mountains. Pulled to Pearl Jams elderly woman and I got sad because the "hearts and thoughts" from this ski season are slowly fading away. Either way ..In the house today were jfdan, Johnny law, Dirtwolf, Benm, mute, Airhead, enjo and many others. Conditions were much better than expected. We were lamenting what was to come while booting up, and on the way up razors looked like something out of a sci fi movie. However we were all pleasantly surprised. NMDW, lazy, Paradise, Burma, Vista, midway, side etc. all skied pretty good with some nice grip and the ability to open things up in spots. You had to be careful however as there are more holes, and what was holey is now even holier. Still decent coverage all things considered. Sad that tomorrow is it for the season at Blue. It was a good one. Looking forward none the less as the weather looks nice. Ski you then. 11
Popular Post Johnny Law Posted March 28 Popular Post Report Posted March 28 Today was the perfect setup, lift up Razors looks like pure death so everything else felt pretty ok when it was just normal refrozen. Grip was only ok but part of the is my fault with butter knife edge skis. I hate the end of season, like truly but it was a good day for what should have been absolute dog shit. Tomorrow I think has some real play if it can get warm enough.......plus I hear a bohdi sighting is in the works..... 10

My guess is they forgot to update it. Definitely wasn't as bad as i was expecting. Not great, but could have been way worse. Edited March 28 by Benm 6
JFskiDan Posted March 28 Report Posted March 28 Wish it was a little warmer today, but we managed to ski all of the open, uniquely different runs that Blue had to offer. Rode 2 of the unique lifts at Blue, too. Not crowded. leftover mimosas from last week after skiing with my pals. 8 1
mute1080 Posted March 28 Report Posted March 28 Was expecting bullet proof and ended up pleasantly surprised. Congrats @Dirtwolfon setting the new high score for Magellan’s route! 5 1
