RidgeRacer Posted August 8 Report Posted August 8 Speaking of CB. Do we hate camelback again or is that no longer a thing because of their clutch superstar like spring last season? I'm leaning towards the latter.
C1erArt Posted August 8 Report Posted August 8 Their whole season was light years better than last year, although I didn’t start skiing it until Blue started closing. 2

Spring was freaking awesome, especially without having to navigate the oblivious newbs . Looking forward to skiing on my birthday in May …provided I make it.

Whats funny is I didn’t ski camelback in their extended spring cause knee was bugging me and wasn’t the kind of skiing that was good for it and like the day after they closed, I was like you know knee feels good should ski lol I definitely won’t feel that way tomorrow about Musikfest my sights are set on the great Allentown fair in a few weeks and selling some more tombstones.
Benm Posted August 9 Report Posted August 9 As long as camelback keeps their shit together well enough that it keeps pulling more people away from blue, I'm a fan. 1 1 1

My patroller friend who I was skiing with mentioned later in the morning had a long time skier friend who was carted off the mountain with a knee injury. The triage place is up near the main lodge so I guess they transported him up there? Probably good you didn’t go , early morning wasn’t bad but it got pretty heavy later in the days.

But they did alot of things right last year, so they move up a notch or two in my book. If they do a repeat this year, they will move up another notch as well. We would all just lose our minds if Blue did the same spring skiing thing, so props to them. My memory isnt great, but maybe the biggest blunder of the year between the two was Blue closing on that powder day? 2
EdBacon Posted August 13 Report Posted August 13 (edited) I'll go there once a year every spring if they keep doing that spring skiing thing. That was a lot of fun. So that's one day a year more than I would have gone at least. Edited August 13 by EdBacon
