  1. Just like the title says. Springs has been blowing like crazy since the rain passed through and will be open 9-4pm Saturday and Sunday. 6-8 trails and an early season park in the Foggy Goggle Bowl. Lift tickets are $32. Rome Pre-Jib is Saturday as well.. get stoked!!

Also, how does Springs still not have it's own section on this site??

  2. Woke up a little late today and got up to Springs around 12 (it opened at 11). A little pissed because I couldn't get my season pass until tomorrow and had to drop $29. It was dumping snow the entire time in addition to the foot or so that was already on the ground. Conditions were pretty sick.. packed powder with a few icy spots and plenty of fresh pow falling all day. They only really had 3 or so trails open but tons of snow and a lot of powder on the sides of trails/ in the woods. Mini-Park was set up on the learners hill with 10 or so features but no lift access so we skipped that to ride. Ended up leaving around 3:30ish. Back tomorrow for the pre-jib and some more riding. 3-5 inches in the forecast for tonight.

  3. I'm from West Chester but I go to Pitt. Springs is legit. The mountain is nothing special but the parks are always good and always changing. It would be nice to have a 7Springs thread up one here but I guess most people on this board are from Eastern Pa and don't ride out here.

  4. Im heading out to Winter Park on Thurs Feb. 28th and coming back monday march 3rd. Any one have suggestions on restaurants to hit, mountains to ride, etc. any help would be appreciated. This will be my second trip out west and first to Colorado. Sooo stoked!

  5. Last year after about a foot and a half of powder came in a storm, we were in my friends backyard making a kicker. We were up until like 3 am working and in the backyard the entire time. Next morning I wake up without a cell phone. I searched the entire backyard the next 2 days and didnt find it. About 3 weeks later, most of the snow had melted, there was only a few patches here and there, and the phone was found in the front yard garden. His front yard sits on top of the hill and the backyard goes down..so no way it made its way down there on its own. It worked perfectly, and luckily, i never bought a new one. crazy
