    Hey all,

     

    It's almost another weekend. Who's gonna be at blue mountain this weekend? Dress warm as temperatures will be in the teens and 20s and snow guns will be blasting on open terrain.

    my son is back to competition after broken wrist. slopestyle on saturday. rail jam on sunday. come out to cheer

    was at blue today from 10 -2

    six pack broke.down whole day

    quad was open. no lines to speak of. and giant whales on paradiae sidewinder. and looled lime they were blowing challenge d81818069f5c4dcbaf8e0a2a1b1c26a3.jpg

    Hopefully in December. Forecast does not look good for November maybe a little snowmaking this weekend at big Boulder. My hope is that when it gets cold it stays cold for at least a few days so blue can build enough base to withstand the first thaw. I also really hope they are open Xmas week this year as I'm off work.

    they are shooting for dec 10 weekend for team training to start. so fingers crossed

    Nice. Has he ever been to a summer camp like Windells? Although, I think all snowboarding camps are done at High Cascade. Expensive, but the amount they can progress in a week is incredible.

    he went to woodward in pa for their summer camp 2 years in a row. that help him get confident with air time and invert time. We also have a tramp that he uses all summer long.

     

    The coaching staff at blue help him transition what he learned at woodward (roller boards) to the snow

    Wednesday's high 50s and heavy rain will wipe out all the natural snow.

    Kyle maybe there was an inversion cause I think Larry Bird parks at the top

    yep  park at top  most times due to sons team.  but will be at valley this weekend due snowboarder x   races .  maybe i will look out for you guys in the lot

    This morning snow was really good, by 10am. Started to soften up and by 1pm. Was slow sticky and slushy temps in the High 50s. Had to ditch the coat and body armor for a hoodie, rode till 2 them left.  quad and six pack very unreliable last 2 weekends broke down way too many times

    Doesn't even look like the waffle cabin is open. Wow just wow

    yeah  i have not seen it open this year yet.

    Luckily I ordered 24 waffles from their online shop

     

    and have a stash for when kids want a really good waffle.

     

    Pricey but good!
