#1. Stay in the lodge...preferably on the first floor so you don't have to use the steps which can be slippery.
#2. Dress like an astronaut...you do not wanna get frost bite or hypothermia...wear lots of layers. At least 7. I suggest starting with a mesh tank top..then a t shirt then a polo shirt then a fleece vest, windbreaker, puffy jacket and a Mexican blanket. If its over 50 degrees you can skip the mesh tank top.
#3. Wear full face helmet and body armor.
#4. Don't French fry when you are supposed to pizza. If you French fry when you are supposed to pizza you are going to have a bad day.
#5. If you plan on skiing in Jeans make sure they are Jordache stone washed jeans..won't necessarily keep you safe but at least you won't look like a gaper.
#6. Reread #1-#5
#7. Learn how to ski terrain that requires mandatory giant slalom turns...
Sit on my landing I'll sit on your face yuk yuk yuk
Wow this is pure gold. Plain and simple anyway you slice it or dice it...you really should do comedy at the ramada inn
Masterpiece

Ski then drink. At least for your first season.
Yeah, a really important one.
-
the best way to stay safe it to coat yourself in cat pee, cover yourself all over, don't forget to get behind the ears!, and then go skiing. The cat pee acts as a force field making you essentially invincible. Give it a try!
LOL, save it for yourself, George. I don't buy it. Thank you anyways.

play wii ski for Nintendo wii.
This is what I have always been doing. LOL.

How can we escape injuries while skiing? Not that I am scared of injuries but I need to know how people keep themselves safe from the most obvious risks.
-
My suggestion would be to look for a beginner package at one of the ski resorts which will include your equipment rental for the day as well as a lesson to get you started. I know that if you went to Jfbb you'd be looking for the discovery package, I'm not sure what it's called at the other areas offhand. Most of all dress for the weather and have fun.
Sounds like a plan, Philly.

Romeo.... Are you new to skiing?
Have you been before, couple times, few times a year.
These are important questions, don't buy anything until you know what you want, need as it will change pretty quickly the more you progress.
This is exactly what it has been on my mind. Thank you for the suggestion. I am very new to skiing. My skills are as good as zero. I am doing my homework here by taking suggestion from you guys before I go for a big leap. I appreciate the way you guys help me.
We should talk if you get into it I got three or four pair you can choose. Free of charge.
Thank you, Johnny. Thank you for the offer. Could you please tell me more regarding them?
-
I really don't understand the question Romeo
What is your routine on a typical day at SKIING?
-
Buy them! Don't be scared to commit.
Thank you. I will surely buy them but not till the time I get some grip over it. For the time being, I am happy with the rentals. May I ask you what difference it makes if I buy them? I may reconsider my decision if you could help me with good reason to go for buying.

Two to seven days a week...I've been slacking so far this season. Only at 6 days.
How does your day go on during skiing?

?????????????

thats a risk we should all be willing to take in the name of mother nature
That would be a breathtaking view to find snow that glows in the night and SKIING would be an another class of adrenaline rush. Right, aren't I?
-
What about skiing in the dark??? You mean night skiing? It feels the same as skiing during the day but there are lots of shadows and on a clear night you can see lots of stars...

We did a radar gun day and atomicskier hit 74mph on razors edge and I hit 64mph but I wasn't in a tuck...In Jackson hole I know I've hit 75-80mph many times. Shit is wild..u don't wanna catch an edge at those speeds. When I ski those speeds with my helmet vents open it whistles. Romeo you gonna be at Blue mountain this weekend??

The right skis depend on the skier, terrain and snow. Some people like making slow deliberate turns while others ski so fast their hair burns on fire.
Hair burning thing sounds good. How about that? I am sure its exactly how experts want it to be.

188 Dynastar LP - they have never made a better charging long radius ski, surfboard era build and next year... anything newer has softer tips. This is my favorite ski of any I've ever owned.
202 Squad 7 - I bought the Super 7's the year before these came out buy I've ridden them for a total of 4 days across all conditions and really fun ski, really stable carver for the newer mid width shapes. Obvious soft snow performer, good western every day ski like the Wren.
13/14 181 Wren - insanely good mix condition/ powder charger, perfect weight. excellent crud buster probably second only to the 191 Katana which is a much worse pow ski
A star heli and DPS 138 Lotus pure - nipple deep blower for life on the best pure pow ski ever
Honestly though I'd have a 1000 pairs of every ski possibly imaginable.
N in the end, we just use a pair of skie........which one you would like dat to be?

I don't hear much though, I do appreciate the way they made their place in Music Ind.

You ever listen to lil Romeo???
