They're not making money anymore with ticket sales. I mean honestly, how many people were at bear last week who weren't passholders, maybe 500(wild guess). Although I don't like them closing I can see from a business standpoint of why they did. It's all about the money, not the dedicated patrons who are there almost everyday.
yeah very true.. thats what makes bear creek bear creek. if they were about theyre pass holders and actually there to give you a place to ride whenever you want it would be different, but they are just corporate money whores.
and grilledsteeze can you ride blue with a bear season pass?? I know a some mountain did that last season don't recall which one it was though. I am either trying to go to blue or boulder tomorrow so It would be good to know..

i agree with the up rails, maybe 1 or 2 would be nice. the flat down is set up the way it is because the topsheet on the down section is coming up about mid way down the box. i dont know why they flipped it around instead of just taking it out or fixing it but thats why its set up as a long flat to down.
as long as they did it for a reason i dont care, but they still should just fix it. I also dont get why some feature never see the snow. Like for one the monster truck tire that just sits burried in snow could just be put up on the side of cascade somewhere as a stall or bonk or something. Just something small that takes up no room but is still fun to hit. And what happened to the wall ride?

need some more uprails... there are way too many flat boxes. The flat down also needs to get put back to normal.

Cliff drop is gone. Both of the staircase are gone. A new rail that is supposed to resemble a
"donkey rail" its like a 25ft double barrel down with like a 5 foot flat section.

I was killing for a rail that has a similar grinding surface of the "candy cane" but its raised up ontop of the supports of like a normal rail. Ive seen them at a lot of west coast mountains, they look sooo fun.
sounds gnarly. stoked the cliff drop is gone, that was the biggest waste of space ever.

i used to work at that lexus dealer. my friend lives in a 20 house development with three school districts in it...Downingtown, Coatesville, and Twin Valley. i actually have a glenmoore address but i say im from downingtown cause i live like 100 yards from the downingtown border and nobody knows where the hell glenmoore is lol

yeah well my address is actually in dtown but I just put glennmore on here for some reason. I live right across from the lexus dealer on rt 100. but its crazy as shit cause people in some of my neighborhood have glenmoore for their ciry and some have c springs and others have dtown

I would have been in... fucktitscockballs why did bear have to close. I think we still have 2 options on this 1. we either migrate to camelback and use our seasons passes for free which would be clutch or 2. go to spring mountain on the 21st which is there closing date

we dont have to do it this weekend, we could do it on that customer appreciation day but that is this weekend isnt it? Anyway I think we should just do it on a day where it isnt raining so there could be a decent turnout.

First of all what they had set up first had been up for at least 2 weeks maybe 3. 2nd you obviously never go there because you would know that they hadnt changed it in a while. 3rd you must suck because black bear is for newbs who like to hit the 10 foot jumps and case the shit out of them. dont post bad shit about a mountain if you have no idea what your talking about.

cascade update?
Three decent sized booters, the double kink box, 2 down rails, pole jam off the cliff (with an actual landing) and they put like a 3 foot up rail that connects to the down box on the staircase.

I will be up around 12 tomorrow afternoon. more than likely by myself so if you wanna ride together just say hey if you see me. Ill be wearing a blakc 32 jacket with brown pants and will be riding either technine or capita.
