  1. boulder doesnt have a winch cat, yes they were good, but a bloody pain to climb if the conditions are anthing but semi-prime to prime. And i doubt any manangement would consider spending 350gs this close to the season. But then again who knows?

  2. If you used a winch cat on challenge and razors you'd have one very steep trail. They cant maintain it to the steepness it should actually be, someone start a petition for every mountain to buy a winch cat, but we all know how effective they are.

  3. ^^^^ agreed... Set up needs a little help, but thats just a personal opinion, and we need to see more park crew out working... Well not to single blue out... so EVERY mountain needs more maintenance during the day, some more than others

im not one to make big claims about a mountain i know little about. but it seems to me like sno is going to steal the hype from boulder...only with a legitimate atmosphere and the staff there is already friendly as hell.

is that a bowl a-la ehco park? big things

im not really feelin that a frame though

I'm not trying to start anything, but really, it must be nice to have owners, or whoever, that have no problem shelling out thousands, even millions of dollars on whatever they want like its pocket change... I wish i had that kind of pocket change... actually I'm damn sure we all do

And having that money to just buy what they want is a problem for boulder, i agree on that. And i didn't get to sno this past season so i don't know what the atmosphere is like

  5. forget it. tim's a dumbass
do you know him personally? You guys go to high school together? Ever been invited over for dinner? oh yea, that must be it... he never invited you over for dinner... I'd be upset too
As was yours..Honestly, I think Psteeze brings more to the table than you. While he's posting up videos, and contest info, your just rambling about stupid shit like amtrak.. It gets old.As to why the site isn't growing, I think it has alot to do with the maturity level of the people on this board. It's definatlly a big turn off to people browsing the site for the first time.
    I'm turned off
  6. Not really disagreeing with you at all. I am of the persuasion that not everything needs to be an argument. Basically just putting an example out there of a mountain whose customer base is basically park rats and really has to be due to their location. The people who are spending the money on hotels, rentals, restaurants and the like are not going to go to a place 40 minutes from Denver, they'll be at Vail or Aspen. This mountain seeks to attract the kids from Denver who might have other wise been driving every weekend to the bigger resorts. They have created a culture and I bet there are a lot of people who would rather just hang out there when they ride if it isn't dumping.

Yes I did see the "we include everyone" type notes on the site, but through press I have read and seen and just the vibe of the Web site, it is pretty obvious what the goals of Echo are and who they intend to market to.

I don't agree or disagree with your opinion that an all park mountain could not be successful, I think it is something that might be tried, and truely depends upon what the definition of "all park" is.

wow, there really are sophisticated, level headed people on here... huh

  7. yeah - they are so laid back with thier marketing it borders on ridiculous. The guy responsible for the park doesn't believe in the internet for example, thinks the boulder website is great! Wants to let the park speak for itself... etc etc.

shut the eff up papa sh** head why dont you do it then if you've got so much bull **** to talk on here and you cant say it to anyones face... wait, how old are you? thats right
