  1. I have a couple of questions for PASR skiers.

I recently got a used pair of Fischer RC4 SC skis with Salomon s912 bindings. My first question is: Are most or all downhill ski boots compatible with these type of bindings? My second question is: Should I get a pair of Salomon brand boots?

I plan on buying used boots and don't want to spend alot of money because I plan on skiing once in a while with my skier friends, but I am a snowboarder at heart.

Any information anyone can give will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

  2. As crowded as it was, if you knew how to maneuver through the lines at the quad lift, you were back up the hill in less than 10 minutes or less. The only time I used the 6, it was 15 minutes in line.

  3. Their Facebook said sometime next week. Yeah sounds like a rumor or downright bittercasting...gosh

They weren't planning on it but I'm sure they'll make extra snow for you.

I just want to ride Blue Mountain. Didn't mean to interrupt your little click you have on PASR. Do I need to run a post by you first? Is that how this works?
  4. Please get some snow on the mountain! Last season I was boarding before December at Blue! This season, my first opportunity to shred looks like its going to be Jack Frost and WMMR's day off at the slopes. I am going though serious withdraw!

  5. Skiers aren't better than snowboarders. Snowboarders aren't better than skiers. I skied for a long time. I didn't like the snowboard crowd. Then I tried snowboarding. I'm a snowboarder now. Six seasons and I love it more and more with every ride. I still have my skis, just in case I feel the urge to dust em' off and ski. I skied once for about 15 minutes out west. Once in six years. It just doesn't seem fun to me like snowboarding does. That doesn't mean snowboarding is better, just more fun for me.

  6. Could anyone give me some good tips on riding halfpipe? I can jump and jib, but put in a transition with some vert and i'm clueless! Need advise on approach, powering through the tranny, and spinning more than 360. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. :banghead

  7. Something I would love to see is a big multi-jump that would include a table-top (or cheese wedge) and two hips. It would have the table/wedge in the middle and on each side would be a hip.

If you put it toward the top of the line (like right after the cheese wedges you had last year) it could be the splitting point for different lines. The three options on how to hit it could lead you into a three different themed lines. Maybe the middle line (hitting it as a table straight on) would be focused on jumps, while the left line could focus more on rails, and the right could be a mix.

I think it would be a pretty fresh set-up for a jump. Insteade of just being limiited to a table-top, you'd have three options to choose from.

Oh yeah.....couldn't have said it better myself :rofl
