  1. a 5-10 minute lift line at RT is a LONG lift line. If you go during the week even through the night its mostly just ski right in and sit right down on the lift. The past two weekends have been super busy. If you come back, fife and drum lift line expect to be fairly busy with the new fife and drum park.

  2. So Roundtop finally got rid of recruit for the rest of the season and is now headed to FIFE AND DRUM. If any of you haven't been to Roundtop before, Fife and Drum was the golden year of Roundtops park. The park will be open tomorrow and will easily be the sickest park roundtop has EVER had. 17 rails and two jumps and a wall ride in our park. We may not be boulder, but we are finally back into the game after a few years of sub-par parks. And also, we have one of the best pipes in central pennsylvania too. This weekend will be sick!

oh yeah and check www.skiroundtop.com/camera.htm for the slope cam of fife and drum

  3. December 19 Ski Roundtop is holding the first rail jam of the season. The event is sponsored by SCION cars. It should be a real fun event. Customized Scions will be on display along with prizes and such. Sorry, no cars for winners haha. Here is a link for event details, http://www.skiroundtop.com/Ski_Roundtop_Sc...ib_Jam_copy.jpg.

The event is Friday, December 19 and is 10 bucks to enter. Registration is from 5:00PM-6:15 PM. If you are coming from a long ways out and may be a bit late, we can work something out. We have a few setups in mind that if they get passed by management, it should be a fun setup. Helmets and waivers required.

Roundtop jams are always pretty legit setups.

  4. Nope not any time soon. It would cost a fortune to get the water supply to that slope along with lighting and a new lift. It has been brought up year after year but until there is a cheaper way to do it, its not going to happen anytime soon from what I hear at the staff meetings.

  5. I want to urge all of you if you haven't been to camelbacks pre-season park to do so. Will and the other park manager (sorry I forgot your name) and whoever else helped set it up did an outstanding job. Comparing the park to boulders opening season, much more fun, rails/boxes weren't sticky in my opinion and they had a super fun jump set up. I will have an edit dropping fairly soon. Just letting you know Camelback has stepped up their game and backed their talk up with a legit pre-season park. I hope things continue to roll the same way for them!

  6. Yeah Kevin Ill have my camera..im trying to ride and get a lot of footy should be a good time for sure!!..

and its not that its that bad papasteeze,

its just not my fit. I need a mountain that has the same ideas as me or atleast that lets me do what I need to do to put the effort in to make GOOD events.

  7. I threw together a little edit from the event at roundtop on november 1. It was a pretty fun time although speed was an issue. Not as much footy as I wanted to get due to the fact we had to sling shot people into the rails with ropes haha. 70 Degree weather and sticky snow don't help, but the riders were rockin still! Hope the knee gets better Sarah! My friends fiance Cayleigh was the one that popped it back into place.
