so tonight i was riding at blue... doing w/e... some point in the night i hit something and died... concusion fucked up ankel scratches all over me? i just wanna know if anyone saw a kid laying somewhere with a black and pink jacket and red pants... that was me.. i just wanna know what happened... i cant remember shit 
so yea... i'm bummed cause i'll be out for awhile... and my goggles are MIA

alright so i was thinking... with lack of snow... and me leaving for the navy next fall, i have a flat down street rail i made awhile back its just been sitting on my hill side for ever... why should i let it sit there and rust? do you think blue would take it? i plan on callin danny tonight and asking him if theyd take it off my hands... i sure do hope so so then i could actualy ride it.. and so can everyone else... which would make me happier then no one hitting it at all. Cross your fingers everyone...

tonight i was driving up to the mt and saw a huge butt load of people standing near the challenge chair, i was like the quad cant be that bad .. then i saw the orange rope... sometime this mornig the quad broke down and has been down all day, my sources, being joel the manager of lift ops, said the part that broke was stuck in the panama because there having problems with the locks and stuff out there, when will the lift be up? who knows, i'd just like to warn everyone whos planning a trip up there so they dont wait an hour for a lift, cause i know i dont like to do that... please check blues site to see if and when it opens again, and i'll try to keep everyone informed since i can see if its moving from my house... thankssssssssss

i think that blue should put out rakes and such so we can fix the lips and such.i mean it would be easier because then everyone can fix them. i know bc leaves rakes out for people to fix the lips.
yea.. thats actually a pretty good idea... but then think of how people are sometimes... there stupid... it could mean bad news.. and some little kid with a rake through is torso haha

Did u ever stop to think that maybe it's been to tough to maintain the park since it's been so soft these past few weeks? Rake the lip, smooth it out, fill in the craters - 15 mins later it's all effed up again. Especially when u have riders/skiiers who don't hit the stuff properly, ride over things, land on the flat, etc.
'Idiots' in charge??? Once a week?? WTF are u talking about? The guys in charge of the park know what they're doing, but they get sh!t from the ppl who run the mtn. Park Crue is out in the morning, afternoon, n nite - n then THRU the fockin nite til 5 or 6am.

alright.. so some of the things i said were a little childish, i'll admit that, but i'm being serious when i do say this, and i'm not trying to be an asshole allthougth i did come across as one.. i dont see them doing much.. yea i know the conditions have been shit but thats why your supposed to be dedicated, you dont get payed to ride all day, you get payed to work, where i used to work.. if you got caught slacking off you were gone, no questions asked, but tahts not the point. so i have seen them maybe once or twice in the morning, rarely though, i know its hard to do the work at night, because everythings shot by the end of the day, but thats when the "dedication" comes into play, its your job, so at least put an effort. and i know they are not out there night after night till 5 or 6. i talk to danny on a regular basis, hes the one out there, its hard enough for him to even get keith who is in charge to show up to that he can come with to help him, thats what i KNOW... of course theres a lot i dont know, but dont tell me i'm completely unjustified and ignorant. thats just being rude yourself because you have no clue who i am and we're talking over a computer for gosh sakes, i feel retarded because we're fighting over this but everyone has there own justifiable reasons i'm sure. but why dont any of us try to do something about the park? like band together and write letters and get this shit figured out so are park doesn't get left in the dust. its the fact that everyone has something to say but no one will go to say denis and say something to him... i know my one friend sent an e-mail to him about the park and then denis was going to take his season pass? now what is that? the fact that we bicker over this bullshit when ludacris stuff like that is happening is unbelievable... but if we all fight it.. we might get somewhere? am i not correct? let me know what you guys think... because obviously one persons opinion isn't good enough... and we cant just go back and forth fighting with each other... its dumb, and imature.. like 8 year olds fighting about which super hero is better, lets make it better and prove we're better ... thats all i guess..

dude you obviously havent been to blue this year then. park crew is doing a much better job than last year at maintaining things, and the pipe is much larger than last year. correct me if i am wrong but... bear doesnt have a pipe open yet?
i hate to say this but blues park crew doesn't do shit... all of them just ride around... i ride blue almost everyday and i may see them doing stuff once a week... dedication is none existent on out mountain... lets face it, but this is what you get when you put idiots in charge.. but thats just my opinion and from what i see.. they dont do much of anything...besides think there hot shit w/e...

It's only a matter of time till the other pocono resorts catch up to and then blow by BC...they have such an advantage over them when it comes to terrain.
yea... Bear does have an advantage, look at the slope, all the trails go straight down pretty much with a really mellow grade. and why do we call it BC? thats like... british columbia haha... no cool, thats my home land folks but w/e haha, what ever makes you happy i suppose?

Yeah but anybody is allowed to ski the park like a regular trail along the side of the trail. As long as they stay away from the take-offs and landings.
However, park passes at Blue are at best a distant possibility right now. Ray Tuthill's (part owner of Blue) opinion is that if someone pays good money for a ticket then they should have unrestricted access to whatever they want to ride. This is a good argument, but I feel that in a cost vs. benefit analysis of what the trail is intended for and who uses it, park passes would really help more people enjoy their time at the mountain.
I agree with Ray, Ray is the man. I also agree with his point verbatum. I was having the discussion with a couple of groups of riders on the lift and they all thought park passes are stupid. If someone pays 40 dollars for a day of skiing which is alot for most people they shouldn't have to pay more for a park pass or waste their valable time filling out forms. They're warnings at the entrance to the park. If somebody is riding out of control or is not following the rules, that's the ski patrollers job to enforce. Go Ray, stick around for a while longer because I don't want Camelback taking over Blue mountain
sorry to say doug but i dont see how you can think hes the man when all the shots are called my dennis who has no clue, ray just pulls in a nice check along with Mr ferko the other half owner. just think about that, he really has nothing to do with what goes on at blue.
it would be amazing if it was on paradise... but they will never sacrifice that trail for a park... especially since they built a permanent wall ride on sidewinder
yea i told my dad if we won the powerball we'ed by the mt. and i'd run the park which would be on paradise... the possiblilities cant even be listed, with those head walls for speed?... i dont know where to start, school hills are for learning, so is vista, lazy is ok too... i say we just all put are money together and buy paradise... what a far fetched idea haha, later

hopefully you are impressed with it... still arent sure what they are putting in it yet, but it looks promising... i'll probably be around there too after i get out of work..
of course i'm going to harrisburg till tuesday so i wont be able to hit it up whenever it opens.. i'll prolly be sittin in the groomer though for a little with danny.. not all night though.. i need to sleep

every mt should have a park where its small and ride one where you dont need a pass.. and then have a bigger all jump on and bigger rails, jumps and a wallride and have that a pass park..
its the way mountain creek does it and i rememeber having to watch a video for Stratton to get into the powerpark
yea.. but watching a video is some what ludacris.. who really pays attention? but anyway, we do have a smaller back, the lower terrain run, thats for beginners... so all in all, it would work out, but no one is willing to give it a try
Kmar, on Blues site over the summer under the improvements headline they had:
1) installed magic carpet in valley west
2)widened sidewinder
3)widened the pipe
4)other things that I don't remember
after we saw what they had written we drove up there and saw the changes to sidewinder and then drove down to the pipe and saw the whole right wall torn up and re-seeded. I don't have any before and after pics, but it was pretty obvious that something had been done.
superpipe is probably rumors at this stage but thats how everything starts. the staircase was just a rumor less than a month ago and today they are workin' on it in the garage. I was told its a 12 set with a handrail in the middle and a ledge or box on either side.
super pipe has ben rumor for years, most of the new rails you here about, do exsist, i was up in the warehouse and saw them with my one good eye, haha j/k
Well, just seeing all that new grass planted there, first instinct was to think that they widened the pipe. When i hiked up there, i thought those guns looked new-they weren't familiar. Anyway, i think it's good that blue is making so much commitment to their parks/pipe. The pipe should be good this year- no doubt in my mind.
ok folks, lets just get this straight.. kmar works there like full time.. he knows what hes doin.. i used to work there. we both know just about everyone that works there haha.. so we're not lying, if i was.. you'd know.. like if i said that the trail they were cutting underneath the quad was gunna be the new jib park and they were going to increase the grade on the snowboarding school hill and make it into a super pipe... just thinking about that makes me laugh, now lets see how many rumors get started

supposedly Dennis Krell Sr's exact words from that he said during a meeting regarding the park were "I want to beat Bear this year"... or something along those lines...
heres suggestions:
1) on the first straitaway on sidewinder there should be rails and no jumps because its too damn windy there and its easier to control yourself on a rail than it is in the air.
2) jumps that have two or more options.... like how the jump in the lower park is now...
3) long landing so people dont flat bottom on everything like last year
4) no ride-on rails
yea... like i said.. we'll see what happens i suppose i dont believe anything till i see it at blue... to many rumors haha

well the zawg is here............ and all i have to say is wait til you see the new rails... ill hint out there be between 4 and 6 new ones.. plus new wallride..... and what else can i hint towards... you may use the stairs? but not for walking... and how big of a box can you make? say umm over 45ft?

park passes work well at mt. creek... why cant they at blue? i've been hit by little out of control kids waiting to hit a rail... i dont like huge bruises on my back.. haha do you? anyway... Denis finally realized a park needs to be up to date and its a must at any mountain. Why has it taken years for him to realize this? maybe because he doesnt know how to do his job? quite possibly but thats coming from me who didn't go to school cause i was going to be a groomer this year and he def. screwed me over and keeps making up excuses everytiem i talk to him. but thats not the case. After 3 years of drawing pictures and everything else of how the park should be because when you spend weeks in whistler every year, it grows on you ... the finally decide to do something about the park... finally.. lets see how it turns out come monday or tuesday... if you guys have any suggestions.. let me know i can write them down and let danny know...

they should be able to open sidewinder by friday. they can blow on it all day today and into most of tomorrow.
haha far from it the widened the trail by like a million feet.. haha not really... so it needs more snow... so think about it... they say monday.. i talked to the park builder danny.. he said he doesn't know... hes caught up in a lotta bull crap like the res of us... later
How can they learn to ride park then?
alright doug... lets think about this... if you wanna learn to ride park.. you buy the pass... but little kids with there familys shouldn't be going into the park and having to crawl up the lip of a jump cause they dont know what there doing... as goes for the older men a women, it used to be a regular trail... but its not... so lets keep it a park...

well i thought the overall set up was cool, boxes aren't my thing but they were nice... maybe something new and more challenging next time? i also think maybe the rails should be side by side, that way you can just hit either or thats what i think a jam session should be, not make it so time restricted so its more fun and you can just chill with everyone and have a good time and throw down. i unfortunatly was one of the people that didn't get to practice which was lamo but i heard from some people the practice was more fun than the actual 'jam' itself, but i wouldn't know, then i got one run and that was it... but oh well..
