I'll try for both days. I'm probably not going to avoid the place just because it's raining. Rain just means the trails will be clear.

shorter season, less vertical, rude employees, more $$$, rude Nasty-R peops, crap moguls...but beer..Blue mountain had beer, just not Miller Sprite...4 more wars...are you skiing Blue tonight?
I might actually make it up there before the end of the season... we'll see how it goes. I think I have bird flu or some crap though. I feel horrible.

Bode is paid all that money to remain on the tongues of fans of skiing, better or worse.. there is no such thing as bad publicity...
I can assure you, Atomic isn't pulling it's sponsorship of Bode Miller because he's losing.. in fact, every time you post more negative trash about him, he makes more money.

Why not just fail to mention everyone who lost(including Bode)..
it's like someone makes a post about Bode losing... completely disregarding those who did better--like it's any news that Bode lost...

I have a feeling that CB will open back up, seeing that other resorts are now planning to stay open. But then again, they have the waterslides to make up the money.
they already had broken last years totals by presidents week. they aren't losing anything closing now, except prospective pass holders.

they are closing tomorrow at 5. I'll be up there for first tracks, I hope... anyone around at that time will be skiing for free.

Lol@too long and steep. Most skier/boarderX courses aren't placed on diamonds, as you don't need that much slope for them. Raceway has about the right pitch, I'd think.

Camelback plans to close for the 2005-2006 season tomorrow, March 19th at 5:00pm. In the event of a major snowstorm next week Camelback may reopen next weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A decision will be made by Tuesday, March 22nd.

Good ideas Metzy...The dorm idea is great...instead of schools taking day trips they could stay over night. My school takes a trip to stokes state forest. We leave on tuesday morning and return Friday night. CB or any of the mountains could be just as accommodating. They could also make money in the fall and spring with other large group activities.
I don't think that the faaaaaaaaar east would be the best spot for skier/boarderX.. prolly Big Pocono, or something... but there could be a dedicated race trail out that way, for sure...

I have three free vouchers for skiing at CB. I'm not going to use them, so the first three people to PM me gets one for free. Two are employee vouchers, and one is a Ski Patrol voucher.
I actually have 5 of them, as well... so make that 8 free vouchers.

it looks like his left ski is getting ready to go in a completely different direction than the right ski(his left and right, not OUR view)
I dunno, that to me seems like it might slow someone down, or require some sort of correction, like maybe he was a bit out of control there for a second... perhaps someone could explain that to me
