The last flat box lip got pretty mangled as well. It was fun though. But I'm not quite sure what was up with that slanted box thing...

When I was up there it was closed off, but I was riding with a park crew kid and this is what I remember from what he told me.
50 foot street style single barrel set at a down
a pretty narrow dfd box
a 45ish foot jump
a nice big jump, almost step down style, id go with 50 if not more, with a real long flat rail on the side of it
a flat down box about 10f-30d
and something else that I forget
...oh and i might as well add that freedom park is totally trashed. The tree is closed off, the first flat box is fine except for the drop off to crater landing. The first jump is actually fine, and probably the only reason to ride the trail. The log jib is still hittable, but it lost alot of snow and is a bit more difficult. Second jump is getting a bad landing, worse than usual. The down rail needs way too much to jump on to it, its probably a foot and a half above the lip, the down box was okay but I don't know how long that will last, and the two boxes at the bottom were there a little earlier in the day but they took them out due to the whole bottom of the trail being pretty much a pond/mud skim now.
Widow park is going good I suppose, they took out the down box at the top, the new wide flat rail at the very top is still good, but still slides as slow as ever, the street rail I think was fine, but I really didnt check it out. The long flat box is losing lip fast, and alot more hop is neccesary than normal even when I left at like 6. I would say the up rail has more of a lip than ever and is good, but everyone says its shakey. The first jump landing has a pretty big hole in it, the second jump is getting there, and the a frame and the battleship both have good lips on them, the only bad thing is all the grass and mud after the battleship. That bonk has been gone for awhile, and a plus is that they were trucking in snow from over on tubing to help cover some bare spots, and there was some pretty rediculous piles of snow to jump off of at the bottom.

to anyone who was there tonight, i honestly hope you realize why it wasnt on merriwidow. visibility was bad enough just hitting the small stuff on freedom park, i took a run through merriwidow and there was no way i was about to hit those jumps without even being able to see your landing until you're in the air.
Definatley, I ended up hitting the jump on the next run, but I cased because I was scared to actually drop into it with the speed I needed because I couldn't even seen the jump. As for the competition, I haven't talked to a single person yet that was satisfied.

I really want to it that tree jib, but when I was up a few days ago it was seemingly impossible to do on skis. Maybe they fixed it or the kid some balls. With the recent temps I doubt it got any better. That thing is my biggest goal on the hill besides a nice 3 over on widow.

Yeah it's definatley a problem. I lost mine once already but I didn't notice it till I was done anyway. It makes good for taking them off though at the end of the night. I'm sure if they realize its a problem they wouldn't care if you went back for a new one, at least season pass holders.

Boulder gets pretty packed. I've been there a few times this week and the people on merry widow park get ridiculous. They're really freaking dumb. Last night I hit the second jump at the bottom and landed a whole 2 feet behind this ass just sitting on the landing.

I'm going with wawa as well. Instead of spending the quarter to go through split rock, you might as well just go back out 940, stop at wawa, and then just take 115 to 903. It might take a little bit longer, but you're also getting food.
As for actual good food places that are cheap and close, I've been wondering this myself, but everything everyone says is just confusing the hell out of me. Someone should just draw a local area map or something.

I was discusssing it with a friend, and it's either going to be really gay or really sweet. I hope so hard it had a good gap on and a good drop off, like at least 3-4 feet. If its ride on I think I'll shoot someone.

So overall it was a pretty good night. Everything was groomed to tip top. Rode with Gurp Justo and someone I dont know. I finally learned to spin 3s, and managed to hurt myself a bit. I recommend going up, it's nothing like blue.
