I suppose you think that bars should do happy hour from 11pm-2am on Fridays and Saturday's too?
And just FYI, they have night tickets on Saturday's and Sunday's for $12.50 if you bring 3 other people. Let me know if you find another area mountain with those prices.
one of my favorite bars in the wilkesbarre area, Areana bar and grill has happy hour from 5-7 every day and 9-11 on sunday. considering a ski resort isnt a bar... but yeah i think they should have sunday night discounts cuz after a heavy crowd comes in they rape you 30+ bucks to ski there rock solid bullshit.
unless they are making snow then everything is sweet

Was it warm out that day? Maybe that's why. I was a season passholder for a few winters and never encountered those conditions. It was probably a fluke.
Yes it was warm, then as soon as the sun dropped the conditions froze up pretty solid. Pretty much it was skiied off by the time i showed up and purchased a lift ticket.
Would have went for the tuesday deal but i work during the week. Will try this sometime if i can find the time off.
Just doesnt make sense that they charge 30+ bucks for night pass on sunday and they dont regroom everything before sun goes down. but you can go all day tuesday for 10 bucks...
Well then go back Tuesday and spend $10.

I went up on a sunday night not too long ago, The conditions were straight ice. Trails at the top were narrow.
but the worst part of it all is i spent 34 bucks to ride garbage when i could have went on tuesday and spent 10 bucks, that just pissed me off enough that i wont be back for the rest of the season.

Last time i was able to get up there was on a friday..granite i had a pass from a friend.. Id say thats some serious bullshit. I mean ill most likely never ski there again because the conditions were horrible / staff was miserable... Ive never skied straight ice like that in my life. Only took 3 runs and said... well you know..

from surfing the internet ive came to the conclusion that running those what they call air water guns are very expensive and not efficent enough to run at 25. which was prolly a good idea since its getting supper cold in a couple days. i bet they have the east mountian open for wmmr day which is my favorite time to get up to frost.

My brother was there Saturday, said the conditions were great, but got crowded. I went up today, they were blowing a lot of snow, spent most our time in the bar. Beer was really cheep, let's just say the bar conditions were amazing. And aparently they'll have the same low prices next weekend.

How were the conditions yesterday, Me and the wife plan to get out for a bit in the afternoon. Hopefully they will have more terrain open tomorrow since shes not to big on steep slopes. Or maybe ill send her in the lodge for a hot coffee break while i get it in on the northface. Skied JF this morning and it was so freaking good, Gotta love these cold temps

WOW was it cold out this morning!! I had to drink a few beers to keep my juices flowing. Demattes was fast and grippy, along with challenge which was the cats ass imo. After a few runs i was tempted to take a run down exhibition while they were making snow haha.. but anyways is anyone having trouble with viewing the webcams? for some reason i get like popups and shit which is really annoying. I love getting on the computer and troll each places web cam to see whats goin on. Blue mountains groomers need to take advice from JF's groomers and Jf web cam department (lol) needs to take advice from camelbacks web cam department. yes obviously there isnt a web cam department, i think you know what i mean.
Anyways off to sno mtn in the am. JF WAS A BLAST!

When you live in PA all you have to be excited about are the snow quality, grooming, and some tree skiing at JF. Don't hate because I enjoy what I've got. If I lived in CO I could get excited about all the sweet pow and go talk about it on CASR instead of trolling the boards of the lowly easterners.

boulder is a small ass hill.
besides, if it was a temp inversion that means the lower half of boulder trail wouldve been perfect to lay down some hikeable shit. you couldve put out some red bull tents and skated the mini. brought out a PA system for ian to get all loud on. and filmed a bunch of really artsy edits with indie music and lots of fancy editing.

It's a shame that you guys aren't running any of the ski areas in the Poconos. Everything would be so much better due to your vast experience and knowledge.
maybe they can go team up and buy sno mtn when it goes out of buisness? i could only imagine what it would look like when they are done with it? hmmm every lift would be a highspeed lift, snowmaking in 32 degree weather, what else? maybe heat the water for the water park and keep that bad boy open all year round LOL... They might wanna take a few loans out.

thought this was gonna be a VIP lift line type shit but then i realized your lifts are slow as hell anyway and only go up about 700 feet.
from my experience at jf, the lift line was short n sweet, i was able to drink a beverage and smoke a cig comfortably without flying through the air at like 20mph. Even so at blue mountain they have those highspeed lifts which with no doubt are fast, maybe if they didnt have highspeed lifts every trail wouldnt be straight ice? the faster you get up to the top, the faster it gets skied off. what do i kno im just a noob.

From what i understand, state inspectors will be there sometime in mid-late december doing a "load test".... so if it passes, im sure they will fire it up!

Didnt get to camelback yet this year, but was at JF. Jf had some great conditions and low lift lines. Also the terrain park was packed with features and was really neat. Didnt take any runs down since im not big on park, but saw it from the lift. I wanna say they have 8 jumps and 12+ rails / boxes.
