  1. yeah, shes 22 so shes not goin anywhere but shorter. i just dont want her to get discouraged because she gets frustrated kind of quick and im just trying to take the added counfusion, price, and frustration out of rental gear.
  2. i actually just bit the bullet and bought a new pair off ebay for 80 bucks. i prolly could have done better, but since they retail at 130, i figure im saving 40 bucks anyways. i personally just like the look of the fire lense, and when i go out to colorado it should be sweet, but i might just end up buying a different lense for pa. anyone know what the best kind of lense is for nighttime? since i dont get out of school till 3, i usually dont get to snowboard till it starts getting dark. clear seems like a safe route, but are some other iridiums better for intensifying light?
  3. im lookin at a pair of oakley a-frames w/ a fire lense. these retail for about 130 and i found a pair on ebay for about 90. do u think its worth it? or are there better options. i was also thinkin about spendin the extra money for wisdoms, but i didnt like they way they fit in the store. also, if anyone has any oakleys, new or used, w/ a fire lense id be happy to take them off ur hands for a price. also, anyone that has the fire lense....do u think its worth the extra money? i like the way they look, but if they dont do too much for performance, then i might consider dropin to maybe a different iridium or something. thanks
  4. i was thinkin about that too, its just that she only goes like 2 or 3 times a year with me and my cousins, so im not sure if that would be worth it. ill have to look into it. thanks
  5. thanks, just a lil more info. shes not really that into it yet, she has been using my old gear(which is too big) or renting stuff so i was just lookin for stuff that some people have like laying around thats even beat up a bit. she is still on the beginner slopes and learning how to control where shes going. i just wnat to encourage her by having the gear available for her to use because its a pain to rent a board every time. like i said, it doesnt have to be anything nice, just something that wont break. i was thinkin about even goin to bear creeks used snowboard sale this weekend, but i think they sell mostly rentals, and i want to get her out of the step-ins. as far as boots go, i might just have to go to a play it again to get a pair taht fit her right, but i was hopin someone might just have some old board and bindings layin aroudn just collecting dust.
  6. my sister is looking for a snowboard package this year but she is on a limited budget so i was wondering if anyone has any womens snowboards/bindings/boots. She is about a 145 cm board and wears a size 8 1/2 sneaker. She is looking to spend under 200 for a whole package and will be grateful for any reasonable offers. thanks
  7. how much u willing to sell all of it for?
  8. I was just wondering what was goin on with the Timberline park. I was there a few days ago and it was open but there was no jumps/rails except for ones that people made. i was wonderin what ur plans were for this new park and if u were planning on putting any jumps or rails in it.
  9. hey. in the past three years i have been goin to blue mountain and they recently put in a sidewinder park. this was ok, but i was wondering if there is something better at bear creek that i am missin because i heared they are completely remaking their park. just trying to make a decision as to which place has the best terrain park. give me ideas. thanks
