  1. Does anybody know if the urban slopestyle will be in black bear or cascade park, i was really hoping that it would be in cascade with alot of jibs and the small staircase but it looks like it will be in black bear where a bunch of stuff is and basically going to be the same setup for last years slopestyle

  2. We already know bear creek cares and they wouldn't need to do something like that, not to mention that would almost show they care less because of the danger when driving on roads with conditions like today; Not to mention they would lose that much more business and money because everyone that heard about it would try and make it so they'd also loose income there. Also they would have to pay all their employees with money that wouldn't really be getting made back due to the issues above, the one thing I do have to ask is would you also think food would be included in this free day because that's just one more huge way the make income for the mountain.

you may know that bear creek cares but most people still have bad thoughts about them just because of the shortened season. Also they wouldnt be responsible for accidents it wouldnt be theyre fault if somebody got in a accident driving like a maniac up there also one day would do nothing to their profit on a day like that. Most people that buy tickets dont look at the message boards and websites and also dont go up on weekdays, so there wouldnt be a lot of people and wouldnt effect them paying their employees and no i never said food would be free then that would just be way out of hand.

  3. Yea dude then don't go because your clearly not hardcore about it. Id hike for a 40 foot patch of snow with or without a feature no matter how large the crowd was just to get some snowboarding in.

yea as much as i liek snowboarding i prob wouldnt hike to ride down a 40 ft patch of snow with no feature

  4. i like boobies.

    as do I

No, what is sad to me is the naivety of people like you who can't empathize with someone else's issues about any other facet of the mountain besides the park. Notice the tone from some members here lately who are "sick of the whining" from kids/adults who are given more every season, yet still complain as though they are still at square one. I don't know what position you're in to decide if Bob's issue is "dealt with." I think Bob or Mark are the ones that can follow up there.

    damn....Well said

  5. I think it would be a good idea for bear creek on a day like today when the roads are bad to say whoever can make it up to the mountain can ride for free. The only people that are going to go up on a day like this are season pass holders for porb like a couple hours, so if you said whoever got the could ride for free you still wouldnt have that many people but it would just show that bear cares and is still trying to make the poeple happy during the short season.

P.S. i have a season pass so this has nothing to do with me just and idea even though you might have to wait till next year to do it considering it doesnt look like we are going to get that many snowstorms after today

  6. bob i know id be kind of mad about them selling out but did you see the people that bought all the tickets, I mean because not being mean or anything i saw a big group of "mentally challenged kids" there the other day probably enjoying the only day they will ever have at a mountain, what if they were the ones who bought all the tickets, I bet you wouldnt be so angry then would you, and if you still are after that then your rich selfish ass gotta go

P.S. this forum isnt for critizing BC kids for typing i mean I garuntee you wouldnt say anything if you came in contact with them on the mountain

i agree with bob on this bare creek does suck along with there park from what i seen last year havent been there yet and the only reason i am going to bc is because i have a free pass for 1 day and if i even like it then maybe ill go there more but i see no reason to go there because 1 its far as fcuk from my house like half hour to an hour drive there and 2 the mountian is so tiny its not worth the 30 mintues to hour drive there, i mean my friend lives like 5 minutes away frm bc but he has a pass to blue because he hates bc's park

first 30 minutes is not far at all and second, if your freind drives all the way to blue because he doesnt like BC park then he obviuosly sucks and is looking for more of the beginner ride- on ride-off shit

  7. Hi everyone,

Each participant will need to sign a liability release, and those under the age of 18 must have this form signed by a parent or guardian. Helmets are required.

so for this comp basically a 15 yr old throwin 7's can be competeing against a 13 yr old jus airing jumps...also only the first place winners in the other divisions get prizes or the top 3 in each other division?

  8. This week's Big Air competition is also qualifier for the Jeep Terrain Park Challenge. The top 3 men and women in both skiing and snowboarding will be invited to compete at the regional event at Shawnee on 2/17.

Top 3 in each division or top 3 overall?

  9. I would think that you guys have enough snow by now to start setting up some new stuff like the flat down flat and some other boxes...just wondering why i havent seen anything new yet and when its gonna be out

  10. If you have enough snow and since its going to be cold for a while, PLEASE open thursday, because last week there was a possibility of opening thursday but u waited till friday making the offpeak pass holders have to go friday then wait till after 4 and basically after people are done fucking up the park. I know unlimited holders payed more and deserve better but an offpeak pass is still expensive and if its possible to open on a week day then BC should

  11. I know its its been real tough for you guys but when it gets cold this week are you guys planning on blowing snow all week then opening on the weekend or opening this week, b/c as a offpeak passholder who didnt get to ride this weekend , im really not trying to wait till next weekend to ride after 4
